We spent a holiday in Aberdeen at the end of the March and decided to go for Karl Fisher's Speyside Whisky Tour and Loch Ness Tour. Both tours were amazing and exceeded our expectations! This was definitely the best way for us to explore the beautiful Scotland. Karl has a great sense of humour and we loved the stories along... More

Fantastic experience. Karl is a gentleman and he shared with us the knowledge bank. Apart from this, very neat vehicle. He is jovial, excellent and I can recommend anyone without a shadow of doubt, to book tours with this gentleman and you will get 200% in return for the monies what you have paid for...

We used Karl about a month ago when visiting Ballater UK for a week. The quick summary is that Karl did a fantastic job for 2 full days of touring. We had arranged through emails with Karl to have him provide us (3 couples from the US) with a Mystery Tour on the day after we arrived. We thought this... More

We took the Loch Ness tour in August 2014. Our guide, mr Fisher, has an excellent knowledge of Aberdeen and all it's surroundings. Some of the roads were blocked in the Highlands due to flooding, but mr Fisher seemed to always know a detour, as well as he seemed to know every interesting fact about the surrounding areas, villages and... We travelled on Karl Fisher's Deeside and Balmoral tour from Aberdeen. Karl was full of local knowledge, humorous aind informative. The day was expertly planned and included 'extras' such as the view from the Tomintoul road above Deeside and a small something from a bottle. With scenery like that, why does anyone want to live abroad? We can thoroughly recommend... More

Took the Thursday Deeside Tour to Balmoral Castle with our driver and guide Karl. It was a very pleasant 6-7 hr roundtrip from Aberdeen, our host was polite, charming, witty and very knowledgeable not only about the features of the tour but also about Scotland in general (agriculture, flora, fauna, history, etc.). Obviously Mr. Karl loves his job and dealing... More

Although it was a miserable weather, Karl made the trip lovely, with interesting commentaries and jokes. We stopped at the Falls of Feugh to see some jumping salmon but unfortunately we didn't see any because it's not yet the season, and then we headed off to Balmoral. Lovely experience with plenty of time to visit and have lunch. We were... More

Karl is well worth using, knowledgeable and friendly. We did the Sunday Mystery Tour that was excellent, good idea to have some suggestions about what you would like to see before you go ie castles, distilleries.

Karl was terrific - we actually booked two day tours with him before arriving in Scotland - one to several Castles and another Distillery tour. Dunnottar Castle was an incredible experience and probably our favorite but we enjoyed every minute of our tours and being able to explore Aberdeen and surrounding towns. We are from Kentucky and certainly couldn't have... More

You always have an awesome experience when someone like Karl Fisher (just call him Harry) leads you around his home country. We started off taking Karl's tour on Saturday, to Dunnottar, Crathes and Drum Castles. It was definitely an amazing experience, but the best part was the stories that Karl told us along the path. We enjoyed the tour so... More
