'THE ABINGDON COLLECTION' offers a unique visitor experience in the beautiful rolling hills of Co. Tyrone. Divided into two distinct sections the first area covers classic cars, motorcycles, diecast models and enamel signs and every 'BIG BOY'S TOY' imaginable. Take a step back in time to the 1950's and remember when petrol was sold in gallons and you could still afford to buy it. The second part of the collection takes you back to the dark day's of World War Two and represents one of the largest private collections of militaria in the UK. Admission is free but contributions to Cancer Research are gratefully accepted. If you want a totally different day out with a history lesson included contact us now. Classic car and motorcycle clubs are very welcome and catering can be organised for visiting large groups. Admission by appointment only.

We turned up unannounced and they very kindly opened up specially for us! We really had no idea what to expect and sought out the collection as my husband and sons love classic cars. The collection is more vast than we ever expected, condition and presentation fabulous! A wonderful guided tour with so much information! The militaria collection was nothing... More

Thank you so much for your kind words and generous contribution to Cancer Research. It was a bit of a world wind tour when you visited but at least you got a taste of what we had to offer. Some fantastic and rare new items in this week so there will be something new to see if you decide to... More

We spent a very interesting morning viewing this collection. Lots to see and and hear about, Philip was obviously enthusiastic and knowledgable about the display. Some extremely moving items in the war memorabilia. Everyone made us feel very welcome.

We visited the Abingdon as part of a group of retired teachers. The collection of Classic Cars, Motorcycles and associated memorabilia was very interesting but the second world war exhibition was outstanding. Phillip's passion for and knowledge of the items is amazing, the result of a lifetime of collecting. His story about the German Officer and his wife was very... More

Thank you so much for your very kind comments. It was an absolute joy having the group here yesterday and the quality of the questions was very impressive, if a little daunting at times. Could you please thank the group and inform them that their donation was the single largest donation given to Cancer Research in any visit. Thank you... More

A hidden gem with a really friendly welcome. The cars and bikes are really interesting and great examples. The guide has a great passion for the vehicles and all the related petroliana. The highlight for me was the second world war exhibit which was very detailed and informative. A great place to visit

This is our 3rd visit and we always learn something new from a very well informed guide, who brings the artefacts and the people who used them come alive. I would throughly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

This collection of history has to be the best I've ever seen ! Everything from classic cars to the Postman Pat toy van, Harley Davidson motorcycles to Chopper bicycles. I was amazed at just how big the collection is and how immaculately clean and well looked after all the pieces are. I really wish I could spend a whole day... More

We had been meaning to visit this collection for quite a while as both of our boys are fascinated with WW2 and the fact it is also quite close to us. We had heard about it from Trip Advisor and knew it was going to be special from the many fantastic reviews. Philip was a fantastic host, with such a... More
