When I needed a break from walking the hills, this turned out to be a convenient and pretty spot. There are a few spots to eat and of course, to shop.

We visited this area when we were in Derry. I found the wool shops quite expensive but some shops offering crafts from various artist were quite reasonable.

Although there was a market on nearby at the Guildhall nearly all of the shops were closed. I overheard a Canadian tourist complaining about this and I don't blame her. The actual craft village is very atmospheric and pretty and well shielded from the wind....More

Called in whilst walking around Derry, The gift shop at the end of the little precinct was run by Mary, who gave some great advice for touring the area. Great range of gifts and her service was exceptional

We visited the Craft Village and although it is not very large there are some good shops selling items with a local theme. Also a very good place to eat, ' Soda & Starch' which I would recommend. The food and service are top class.
