I did not visit the inside of this church- but I would have if I had more time. The church itself is simply beautiful, just a small building set off of the city walk I did. The yard and plants made it look like a lovely place to take in a service and then just enjoy nature.

We were lucky when visiting St. Augustine's Church. They were working on the roof so the church was open. A lot of Anglican churches that we visit are closed. This was a small quaint church with beautiful stained glass window..

This church is small but very beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and have won awards in local Council competitions. During July and August there are volunteers to guide you through the church and its history - as they are likely to be members of the congregation they will be very knowledgable! If you are 'into' stained glass windows, there... More

This is a nice little church within the city walls of Derry. This church has a nice yard and has been restored.

I am amused that St Columba's (Columcille) church was founded on the site of St Augustine's. Very small chapel. Interesting church yard. Worth a wee stop.

This beautiful church has recently been restored and is well worth a visit. If the singer is there you are in for a treat.

Its hard to describe the feeling but this smaller church has a special "feeling" something akin to togetherness. While the larger examples are spectacular to look at they have that "cold" feeling. This is quite different and a welcome difference
