Walks with family

Really enjoyed walks around the woods with my son's! Just wish there was better access to see the waterfall as it's difficult to see from the paths.

This is a well cared for woodland with the most beautiful waterfall. Easy to walk, very scenic and peaceful.

Enjoyed birdwatching and the lovely walk around the woods and environs. Weather was beautiful and the people I met along the way were friendly.

Great location for walking and hiking. We take our dogs here all the time and they love it! Although some dog owners really do need to keep their dog on their leads

Beautiful scenes, a really lovely walk for summer time with waterfalls and woodland. Easy to find and always relatively quiet, there's generally very few people around.

A great find , not too many people about. Very clean and a short walk to beautiful riverside walks. A hidden gem for a quiet picnic.

This was one of the most low-key but excellent day trips. The walk is lovely, and a good combination of open paths and trails. It's not huge but if you are interested in looking at nature and your surroundings in an unhurried, unfussy level, it's perfect

Absolutely beautiful place. Great walking paths and well sign posted. The scenery is absolutely worth it. We went on a lovely Sunday afternoon and took the pup- can't recommend this place enough. Close to the city but far enough away from roads etc that you get a true tatse of the countryside.

I've driven past the signs for Ness wood many times on the way from Belfast to Derry, and finally made a visit on a cold January Sunday. Lovely country park, with a nice visitor centre (only open on Sundays in winter) which introduced the landscape and wildlife. We had a disabled member of the party, so enjoyed a short, level,...
