Arresting
Apr 2019 • Solo
I don't quite know what to write here because I can't say I "enjoyed" these murals. They are quite arresting and confrontational but in fairness, no more so than those on the opposite side on the Bogside where I felt completely comfortable.
Here you have Loyalist murals and slogans complete with kerbstones and lamp posts painted in the Red, White and Blue of the union Jack.
Part of the social history if the city and well worth seeing.

Opposite Sides
Oct 2018 • Couples
After visiting the very moving Bogside area and the murals, we were not going to leave Derry without seeing the Loyalist murals. As soon as you arrive you feel and see the difference immediately, lots of Union Jacks, curbstones and lamp posts painted red, white and blue and the murals depicting the Military, British Legion, Battle of Messines and the Queen amongst others. Different atmosphere, great artwork nonetheless.

Barely worth a drive by. People have tried to move on. Close to huge former army barracks at Edrington. Nothing really to see

A Must
Jun 2013 • Couples
Our guide brought us to these murals while in Derry. I have said in other reviews that having a guide is a must. We are glad he brought us to the murals.

they are very good and well preserved by the local community and should be seen to see what the loyalists artists can do.

Excellent murals in loyalist bond street
Aug 2013
The little street is a very cultured street, you can tell everyone loves the queen and loves being protestant. There are so many union flags and happy people everywhere. The murals are amazing, a definite must see for anyone visiting Londonderry.

One half of the murals
All the great nationalist/republican murals can be viewed around the bogside, but you can't go without seeing the loyalist ones. Bond Street is on the Waterside area adjacent to Ebrington. Not Lurgan as this image shows...
