With only 1 day in the city we wanted to make sure we got a feel of the history so went for this city tour. The tour itself was great, so interesting. Neither of us wanted it to end, we could have listened to John's stories for the rest of the day. A must do while you're here.

I was on the Shamrockers tour and we had a city tour included. I can't express how amazing Garvin is! He is a truly wonderful guide and local of Derry. He literally wears Derry's heart on his sleeve. He spoke so dramatically and eloquently that I was captivated the entire time our group was with him. He always spoke the... More

Even though I know Derry I decided to take the tour to see more. It lasted an hour, covered all the essentials and did not hold back on its commentary. However it was pre-recorded and was not exactly u to date, e.g. referring to Fr/Bishop Daly but not commenting on the fact he had just died, or referring to a... More

Even though it was raining for most of the hour and a half, Dermott gave us a fascinating insight into the history of Derry along with the more recent troubles. Although the tour didn't include the full circuit of the walls it was something to not be missed. After doing the tour and having a lovely tea, coffee and food... More

We're very independent travellers and didn't originally intend to get a guided walking tour around Derry, but we bumped into tour guide John McNulty at the information centre, and took a gamble on joining his next group - I say a gamble, because you never know what these tours will be like - but we're delighted that we did. He... More

A must do in Derry giving you a snapshot of history at a great pace allowing you to walk around the walls seeing different aspects and areas of the city.

Fantastic tour with John. The whole song and dance, literally. Nice surprise song by William at the church. Great insight into the city's past

I was in Derry with the Shamrocker Adventures. The Tour with Garvin was epic. Just wonderful, with such a passion. I loved the stories he told us. It was really, really good. And for me as a german easy to understand because of the irish accent.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Ms. McCrossen, who carries on the family business with the same quality and love of the city of Derry that made her father one of the best. Fun and funny, but totally knowledgeable about all things Derry. She even handled some tough political questions with an objective and informative response.

Really good tour and worth every penny. Complementary coffee/tea at the end. Would not have been able to pick up as much without a tour. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend it.
