Visited for information which was readily given and a map of the City provided. A good alternative to the Tourist Advice Centre.

Regularly visit the Forum for comedy shows, great staff and facilities. Only downside can be parking is limited as it is situated in the centre of the city, though prior planning can make this problem easier.

Went to see Lord of the Dance, Dangerous Games. The forum is nice enough, big building but was surprised at the size of the theatre, it seemed fairly small, but was comfortable and had great amount of leg room. Drinks and merchandise are expensive but...More

Same as previous reviewer. No bad seats. Stay central if it’s a play etc. Some action may take place close to curtain on either side of stage.

I realise this answer may be too late for the pantomime, but most theatres would not charge for a baby.

Post theatre eats! (5 Replies)
Hi there! Plan to go to the theatre in Derry next week which means an early dinner. From experience I know that we will be starving after the show but generally most restaurants are closed at this stage and usually nothing really available at hotel. Am looking for a slice of pizza or something quick and tasty after the show? Is there anywhere around the Millennium Forum area (even a take-away) that would be open late? Really looking forward to our visit....our first to Derry! Many thanks.

Both the City Hotel and the Tower Hotel are within the City Centre and therefore really convenient for the Millenium. Both offer parking but I think it's limited. Have a look at the reviews for both - the City would be more consistent but I'm not sure about your budget. The Travelodge is probably the cheapest but some of the reviews are really bad. Alternatively, there are a couple of good B&Bs fairly close to the Theatre (eg. Saddlers House and the Merchant House). Hope this helps!
