This is my third time playing this course and trying to love it. The clubhouse and staff are wonderful. My complaint from a woman's point of view is the layout. If you are not a single digit handicap with a 200 yard drive and a...More

What an amazing course. Not boring holes, immaculate condition, beautiful layout and brutally difficult and fast greens. We (7, 11 HC) were challenged the whole 18 holes and exhausted at the end but wow, what an experience. We didn't have a caddy but probably should...More

A must play. The most scenic golf course I've played so far and a true test to your game. The front nine is just stunning, the back nine nas a few average holes. Bring your A game, else this will be frustrating.

My opinion is that this was the best golf I've played either in Ireland or the U.S. We played Doonbeg, Lahinch, Tralee, Sligo, Enniscrone, and County Louth in addition to RCD. Hands down the best. We used caddies and my caddie (Eamon) was excellent. He...More

Played August 3-4, 2017. Wonderful golf course. Weather was good but windy. Greens in very good conditions. Sand traps were difficult with deep rough and fescue around them. Definitely need to take a caddie for the blind shots , fore caddying and green. Had two...More

Beautiful, and difficult, golf course - one of the best anywhere in the world. Get caddies as there are lots of blind shots. First timers will be totally lost on their own. Perfect conditions and gorgeous views. Pricey, but so happy we played here.

This is a really good course with some great holes. We (4 with hcaps 6,10,14,16) played it twice in benign conditions and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff in restaurant were nice and friendly, those in pro shop were fine - efficient and polite but not...More

What else can you say about the best course in Ireland and the world? Expensive but worth it. A real challenge but fun and fair. Get a caddy. They know where to hit and how far to hit it. They will also help find your...More

I w a s there in September so I suggest you call the course and ask as winter always presents challenges for places with nearly year-round play. No pun intended. :)
