The park is very badly sign posted coming from Downpatrick. You need to be coming from the opposite direction to see the sign! Judging by the cobwebs on the doors it isa long time since they were open. Not a single sign to say when/if the Centre would open again. So we asked someone else where was the walk and spent a while wandering along the path. Because of the trees and the dense undergrowth we could not see much of the 'pond'. A disappointing visit.

A very enjoyable long riverside walk along this former piece of Strangford Lough beginning at Quoile Bridge, then the Quay, Castle and Steamboat Quay. The views are amazing especially from the Steamboat Quay. Information boards and plaques are able to give all the information required.

Pleasant area for a stroll on an autumnal evening, very difficult to see the river for most of the walk. Nice to see families making the most of it

Have been visiting lots recently for my daily exercise after work. Nice for an evening walk or run. Very pretty when the sun shines. Easy to get to from Downpatrick via foot. Not too busy with other visits.

A tranquil place to visit, with walks both long and short to suit everyone. At this time of year, - Autumn - the colours are spectacular. I only gave four stars simply because dogs have to be kept on a lead, which is a shame. There is lots of parking and it's free.

Stopped here for a picnic by the water and a short riverside walk. There is definitely more to investigate here during the coming summer. Lovely peaceful area and easily accessed.

Stunning waterway just before downpatrick perfect in the summer for a picnic with tables available to sit on and a great stop in the winter for a coffee if out on the bike.

I visit the Quoile regularly as it's a great place to walk the dog. You might manage to catch the swans in flight as they skim along the water but they aren't exactly on a schedule... Regardless it's a great walk. If it's been raining before you go then bring sensible footwear. If there's been several days of rain then you might find some of the pathways impassable but hey, that's the beauty of nature!

An absolute gem. Lovely riverside walks abound. One of my favourite places in the province. Close to Belfast yet light-years away in tranquility.

There are great (linear) walks along the banks of the beautiful River Quoile. Some stretches of the path are blessed with significant amounts of dog excrement-beware. The biggest disappointment is the lack of cafe in the immediate environs.
