There's activities for kids like canoeing and climbing walls. I've also seen people fishing the lake, I assume a permit would be required for it. Its also great for cycling and the shortest walk is around the lake though there's plenty of longer walks too

Camped here with the family in the forest park. The gardens, cycle trails and lake are brilliant to say nothin of the amazing Maze.

Well maintained grounds and the lake is majestic. Easy parking right beside the lake. Walkers, runners, cyclists, fishermen. Hire of electric bikes too
