About
Queen’s Comedy Club has been going for over 22 years. The club was started in February 1992 by a young Colin Murphy, performing his first ever gig. Over the years, the club has taken on various different guises and promoters and seen a who’s who from the comedy world, with all the now major comedians; Peter Kay, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey, Sean Lock, Ed Byrne and Jason Byrne taking to the stage. Compered each week by Colin Murphy, it has become a firm fixture in Belfast’s burgeoning comedy scene. The club is open to everyone and anyone (you do need valid id to prove you’re over 18 though). As long as you’re up for a laugh, we’d love to you have you.

I've been regularly attending Queen's comedy nights for many years and will continue as long as I'm able and its still running! They have a fantastic mix of upcoming talent and guest standups(most of the guests are established on tv!). Nothing much else goes on in Belfast on a Wednesday night but this little gem is a must!

I've been going to Queen's Comedy Club since I was a student at Queen's and still go regularly 10 years later! The line up is always varied and I've seen some really big comedians play the club over the years including two of my favourites Jason Byrne and Tommy Tiernan. I've discovered some new favourites too, like Chris Kent. Overall, it's a great night out in one of my favourite venues for gigs in Belfast.

A real gem if you're in Belfast at the right time. The students' union at Queen's University Belfast hosts this comedy club for 4ish weeks in the Autumn and Spring. The compere, Colin Murphy is VERY funny, and the guest acts and headliners are top notch. They get loads of big comedy names from all round Ireland and the UK. The venue, Mandela Hall, is brilliant. Comfy seats, and cheap bar! Eventhough it's in a students' union, there's plenty of non-students there. Highly recommended!
