Booked two tours with this company and had very different experiences on both tours. TLDR; the guide you get makes all the difference. I’ll start with the 2nd tour which was to the Cliffs of Moher, Kilmacduagh Abbey & Galway. Stephen was our guide and he ran the tour very efficiently. Gave us just the right amount of time at each stop, shared insightful history about each spot and tried to entertain us for the LONG day of driving (technical difficulties so we couldn’t watch the movie he had). The bus was as good as buses get - had a lavatory, well temped and usb ports which were nice. As for the tour sites themselves, the cliffs were beautiful but the other two spots were meh- the Abbey was a rustic cemetery and Galway was a typical small town with a tourist-trap shopping street. Nonetheless, it was a way to spend the day but I would only recommend these sites if you have an extra day and just really want to kill some time (or maybe you’re a big Harry Potter fan). If this was my only tour with this company, I would 100% recommend them. Unfortunately, my first tour with this company has tainted my opinion. It was a tour to see the Giants Causeway, Dark Hedges, and Belfast City and Patrick was our guide. The bus, sites and efficient/timely use of our time was spot on. But I would not recommend Patrick as a guide for these 3 reasons: 1. He did trivia questions for prizes throughout the tour, which I thought was a great way to engage a group. In the beginning, he would ask a question and whoever answered it first won a little candy or whatnot. On the way back, he announced two rather “legitimate” prizes: a book and a full bottle of whiskey. However, for these two prizes, he only had a group of Americans enter and left 75% of the bus out. Did these Americans have a special ticket that allowed them to enter? Who knows bc he made it sound like the contest was for everyone but only this one group was invited to participate (which was the same group he interacted with 99% of the time so there seemed to be a lot of favoritism). 2. Patrick also only gave certain people these cards to write a review that included a discount for friends. It was the same group of Americans and he spent time talking to them about the review and again, ignored 75% of the rest of the bus although he did hand out cards as everyone got off. It felt like another act of segregation. I’m here as a travel blogger (for a global travel site) and would have gladly referred folks to this company, with or without the discount. If you’re going to personally handout something, do it for everyone. 3. Last straw was when he announced about 20 min before we got back to Dublin that he was dropping us off at a different location because it was “more central for everyone.” Who was this “everyone” as he certainly did not ask the majority of us. I had plans to meet someone at the original drop off point and since I didn’t know where the new location was, we had to find each other after he dropped us off (about half a mile away from the original place.) Maybe he had good intentions but after being treated like second-class citizens all day, it was a bitter ending. (The 2nd tour did the same thing and it was a different location than the first tour so something to be aware of as maybe this is the norm for the company even tho the booking clearly states that drop off is same as the pick up spot). So in terms of efficiency, timeliness and cost, this company is great. They are a popular company so expect to be in a packed large bus (around 50-60 folks). But it’s a coin toss in terms of the professionalism and inclusivity of their guides.

What a FANTASTIC experience! There was never a dull moment with our tour guide Brian. Alot of laughs and craic which translates as fun in Irish. (A new word learnt for the day.) throughout the tour. Such a great atmosphere filled with jokes and history. I highly recommend to friends and family. There was so much to see and do, there was never a time I felt it was rushed...everything was perfect timing and ran smoothly. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime.

Excellent tour, full of history, laughs and good craic! Showcasing the best Northern Ireland has to offer! Bryan, our tour guide made the day even more enjoyable through his extensive knowledge and humour! My favourite part had to be seeing the incredible formation's of Giant's Causeway and learning all about the story of Finn McCool!
