This is definitely one of Belfast's best parks to visit, my kids love to play in the play park then go for a lovely walk around it looking at the ducks & swans. It's also great for bike rides, picnics with your family and a nice day out plus you can watch the aeroplanes come in over your head. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutley shocked to see such have a beautiful Park again after years of decay & decline. Something for the whole family, a lovely nature reserve, playpark, football pitches, cycling. And take a trip accross the new Sammy Thompson bridge.

Had fun watching some dazzling fork-tailed terns that were fishing in the river. There was a grey heron, too. Lots of bird life, trees, paths, great for a visit. Yes, as C1tten5 noted below, the marker on the Tripadvisor map is way off target. This park is beside the big road that passes George Best Airport.

Lovely walks & playing, but this map s wrong! Enjoyed watching the birds on the water, seeing the bridges (& even the famous harbour craines). He kids especially loved feeding the birds & paying in the under 14's play ground (which is very well kitted out). Lots of cool minor construction resulting in closed paths though.

This park is off the beaten track and if you didn't know the area you would struggle to get to it as you cant get to it from the carriageway .. the park has recently been given a revamp and it is one of those places where the wildlife have been allowed and you can see them in their own... More

1 mile / 1.7 k loop with smooth concrete surface or option of trail surface around park perimeter. ideal for walking/running/ rollerblades etc. Has a bowling green , flower beds , super playground for children and numerous picnic and seating areas. Also practically at end of runway for city airport so impressive energy from planes going barely above your head.

Such a lovely place for a walk, with kids with dogs or by yourself! Renovations done to the park are excellent! Keeps the ducks enclosed for those who want to see them but like myself get a bit fearful when too close!

Seeing all the swans, ducks and other wildlife was beautiful. It was a really lovely walk and I was so shocked to see exercise equipment all through the park. Wish we had that here in Canada!
