What better place to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday morning? (or any other time it's open). Great atmosphere, great selection of market stalls, good selection of food offerings and all brought together by some good live music. Great place for visitors from abroad to get some quality NI gifts.

On a weekend trip we headed over to St George's on Sunday morning following a rather disappointing wander around the Christmas market on Saturday. The place was buzzing and had a great balance of stalls and food outlets. Lots of local crafts people and producers all happy to share their passion and stories plus the live music really added to... I was on a short weekend trip to Belfast and had planned to check out this market on our second morning for breakfast and coffee. We showed up shortly after it opened so it was still a bit quiet. We were hungry so we wandered quickly to a seating area and ordered our filling breakfasts. They were great breakfasts, but... More

This is a great place to visit. Great selection of stalls & food to buy on a Sunday. I think a foodie trip on a Saturday would be amazing! Music plays, bands are playing creating a great atmosphere & ambience. Go, enjoy!

Lovely atmosphere- heartily recommend the Belfast bacon baps at the May St end for great food, lovely staff and a bit of 'craic' while you wait. Have met friends here, taken family and been on my own. Great craft stalls too- I always come here for local gifts if I'm visiting family abroad!

The stalls are superb, and the quality of each (food and crafts) is always improving.... You could easily eat a substantial (and if you wish healthy) lunch here, and it wont be any more expensive (possibly cheaper) than the city centre.. Some of the stalls here now have actual shops in the city so its a good starting point for... More

Why bother with expensive restos and fancy places. They are only for the spoiled rich kids! Food markets are the best!!! It's cheap, great food, locals knows best, and shop while you're there.

The Saturday market at St. George's is one not to be missed. We went up to look for a few Christmas presents and found it was buzzing with people and a great happy party mood. We were in Cork earlier in the year and went to the world famous English Market, but St. George's has just as good a selection... More

What a delightful way to spend Saturday morning. An amazing selection of hot and cold breakfast and lunch stands. I had a fantastic curry from Hot Lips. Friends enjoyed a Belfast Bap with bacon. While eating we were entertained by a trio singing Motown and great R&B classics. If I lived here this would be my go to for fresh... More

It had been years since my last visit to St Georges, but it was just as good as I remembered. Very talented musicians playing great music. Plenty of different country food choices, local fresh produce fruit veg meats cheese etc and local traditional crafts and arts. Atmosphere electric, a must experience for any age of visitor. Some stalls a little... More
