Overview
More
The SS Nomadic is known as Titanic's little sister. Built at the same time, by the same people, in the same Harland and Wolff shipyard as Titanic, Nomadic brought those boarding the great liner at Cherbourg to the ship. That was the start of an adventurous life, as she played a part in WW One and Two, carried many famous people to the great trans-Atlantic liners, became a floating restaurant in Paris and was saved from being scrapped by the people of Belfast. Now completely refurbished as a visitor attraction, you can walk in the footsteps of history, learn her story, and become part of the new chapter of her dramatic existence.

Part of the Titanic experience but well worth a look. The last white star ship. Was a tender in Cherbourg amongst other things. Been lovingly restored.

This ship is hard as nails! Lasted through the titanic , both world wars, and is still looking pretty in 2017. Free entry when you go to the titanic museum! Definitely worth popping in! Takes about 10 minutes!

that is almost unknown. Getting to the ship in style was as important as the trip itself. The class system of handling the people with money is shown in the finishes and trimmings, that divided the classes.

The revitalision of this boat has been very successful. To think 1000 people can fit on. This ship is amazing.

SS Nomadic was cool little ship. We did a quick run down each level on here. You could see how classes back then looked like. There was a dress up section for you to play with. You could turn yourself back in time :)

We visited the SS Nomadic as part of our Titanic package. There were a few activities on board and parts of the ship to explore, but the exhibits and activities were mostly tailored to young children (11 and younger). There was not much for adults...More

This was part of our ticket for the Titanic exhibit. This tender was used for the ship and you could visualize the people from over one hundred years ago on this boat. We were surprised that it held one thousand people. The furniture, crew bedrooms...More
