I have taken clients on the tour twice Taxi twice and on both occasions it was informative but from a very biased point of view. Being from Northern Ireland I would know quite a bit about the troubled past of Belfast but the person taking the tour (Driver) told the story from their own 'side' and skipped over the less... This is the second time we have done the tour and our guide Charlie was both knowledgable and fun. The tours take you to key places of interest related to the Troubles and make history accessible and engaging for teenagers. If you need a toilet stop, nothing is open on Sundays so we recommend the hospital :-) The price is... More

There are so many things to do and see in Belfast that it's hard to chose when on a cruise ship time schedule. Our group of 4 chose to go to the Rope Bridge and the Giants Causeway before heading back to Belfast. Crossing the Rope Bridge took a lot longer than anticipated and, unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate... More

We checked into the hotel and received a few flyers 'Things to do in belfast'. I had never heard of the Black taxi tours and it was only when we seen the flyer that it really caught our eye. We looked into it and we decided we would do it. We were picked up outside our Hotel and off we... More

We wanted to go deep into the history of the conflict between the Protestants and Catholics and why they are still fighting to this day and we got more than we ever could have imagined. Jim was our driver and tour guide and he was amazing. He went deep into the history, showed us places we would have never been... More

Had really unexpected good experience with this tour the cab driver was raised during the troubles and shared a lot of history about the suburbs of Belfast from both sides of the cultural divide. Would highly recommend a trip in the black cabs if you ever visit Belfast. It only takes an hour or so and only 10 pound but... More

When we were in Belfast on a short Mid Term break, we went on a Black Taxi tour of Belfast. This was absolutely amazing. I never dreamt that I would be on the Shankill Road or the Falls Road or at the peace wall. Our guide Isaac gave us a balanced view from both sides of the conflict. He was... More

We went as part of the Titanic Tour. Was interesting and enjoyable. But not great on a cold day. There is a lovely guide there to tell you about the history of the ship. Worth a visit

If you visit Belfast this is one of those "must do" events!! We were a family of 6 and everyone loved it. Very informative and educational. Hard to describe. Our driver was absolutely terrific. Don't miss this experience. You will be pleased you took the time to do it.

I wasn't sure how this would pan out given I am pretty well versed in the history of Belfast and the awful things that happened in its streets. However our tour guide had an intimate knowledge of the conflict and hearing first hand the monstrous events which happened on the streets of Belfast from the Shankill Butchers / To the... More
