We had a wonderful tour with Tom and found it so interesting and enlightening. Being old enough to remember hearing about 'the troubles' it was wonderful to hear a firsthand account that gave a very personal perspective. If you do nothing else in Belfast, do this!

We took the tour with Paddy in 2013. We're considering doing it again on our next visit. There's so much information to absorb in one trip. It was the most informative and non-biased look at the problems between Catholics & Protestants in Belfast during the "Troubles". It's something that we all can learn from about making this a better world... More

As an American who really only knows Belfast from the news coverage in the 80's, this was an amazing opportunity to learn more about not only what was going on during the Troubles, but how the city has changed for the better and what challenges are still... This was a very educational experience for me. I only knew a little about the political, economical, and social effect on the people of Northern Ireland prior to this trip. Gerry went into great detail to help define what life was like from the time of the fight for Irish Independence all the way through the end of the 20th... More

A big thank you to our tour driver yesterday - Gerry Loughlin. He gave an insight and understanding of the Troubles. His extensive knowledge of the history, peace process and current day situation was mind blowing. He filled in so many gaps so that I can now appreciate the situation so much more. He even injected humour into the tour.... More

Your tour brought a wealth of information and shed light on what we knew so little about. The murals are beautiful and we even got to meet a mural painter today on the Catholic... More
