Bobby Walsh, our driver was excellent! As a woman from Dublin, living in the UK and Germany for over 20 years, I was unsure what to expect.

Bobby gave us a very self-reflective vision of the murals, recounting some of his own personal experiences, his personal journey over the past years. His account of the Troubles, interpreted through the murals was well-balanced, an attempt to understand what had happened back in the Troubles, relating it back to the politics of the present-day.
For me, the highlight was definitely the trip to the church of the Redemptorists, off the Falls road, an oasis of calm in the Troubles. Thank you Bobby! Definitely, I would recommend the tour.

We had a black taxi tour with Brian today and it was extremely informative. Brian being from the city and having grown up during the troubles made the experience far more authentic. Definitely the highlight of our weekend. Would recommend to anyone who is in Belfast for a holiday

We took a tour of the murals from Crumlin Road Gaol on 30/8/22, our driver was Isaac. We had a really good trip, Issac was knowledgeable and explained things from both perspectives, which we really appreciated. He went the extra mile to give us a good tour.

We really enjoyed our tour with Isaac! We learned so much about the history of Northern Ireland, especially about the Troubles. Isaac's tour was thorough, objective and thoughtful. He detailed events from both a Catholic and Protestant perspective, and asked us at the end of our tour if we could guess which of the two religions he is. None of us could guess for sure, which tells me he gave an impartial commentary. It was amazing to see the gates dividing neighborhoods still in operation today and the hundreds of murals honoring victims and memorializing the tragic events were more impactful thanks to his explanations. This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our entire trip to Ireland and I credit Isaac for making such a special memory for my family and I.

We spent two wonderful weeks under the care of guide par excellence, Bobby Walsh. His knowledge of Ireland—its sites, its people and its history (from prehistoric times to the present) was encyclopedic. He was also entertaining, every minute. Since the weather was not cooperative, he created daily itineraries on the fly so that there was a chance of sunlight for every outdoor activity and indoor things to see when there was only rain, managing to show us everything we came to see. All the while, he was looking for ways to enhance the trip based on our own individual preferences and goals. Restaurant and pub recommendations were spot on. I was looking for Irish ancestors, and armed with what little information I brought, overnight (and on his own time), he managed to locate my probable family origins and worked a visit to that site into our trip.

For a group with very little knowledge, Brian was the perfect tour guide. He was super friendly, a great laugh and really explained all the sights and history. I would recommend this tour 3000% it was extremely informative whilst Brian’s jokes would keep it lighthearted when it needed to xxxxx

A different view of Belfast, showing up how little I know of Irish and British history! Our driver, Brian, was friendly, knowledgable, amusing, happy to answer all of our questions. He explained both sides of what has happened in Belfast over the years, and is still happening, showed us lots of points of interest.

We were able to get out of the cab at various points for a closer look and to take photos. An honest, personal tour, I would recommend to everyone!

Cab tours Belfast is a brilliant way to see exactly where all the troubles happened, especially with a driver/guide like Pody.
Just two of us in the cab so not stuck in other peoples faces. Every stop was a real point of interest and Pody was great at explaining where we were and why.
Some really heart breaking stories to listen to, but it would spoil the tour for the next person. Just take the tour, you will not be disappointed.

Isaac, our cab/tour guide picked us up on time at our hotel . He explained what we would see and do, then we hit the road. Isaac grew up in Northern Ireland and lived the conflict. He told us there are still 4 gates that lock everyday separating the areas approx 6am-6pm. As we passed through the gates, Isaac took on the perspective/beliefs of a catholic or Protestant. He was well spoken, very knowledgeable and often added a touch of humor to lighten a mood. He cleared up many of our misconceptions and left us hopeful for a better future. I highly recommend this tour.

We had originally planned to go to the Titanic Museum but it was closed for refurbishment. This turned out to be a great thing as the hotel recommended this tour, we had no idea what to expect but it was fantastic. Our guide Martin was superb, he was really engaged and knowledgeable and gave a really unbiased overview of both sides of the troubles.

No one in our group could believe how naïve we were about the true realities of the situation both currently and recent history. It's great to go beyond the headlines and understand more.

We also asked Martin to drop us off at a pub with great Guinness- we can confirm his choice was correct and we would never have gone there without his recommendation!
