Visited here about dinner time mid week and the member of staff in the pool loft was extremely rude ! Initially told us that two pints of coke was £4.00 handed a £10 not to pay for it and just gave back £1.60 change with out even saying anything. The entire time he was 'serving' us was too busy talking... More

Was told by the member of staff on the phone that we don't have to book seats in karaoke, but can just drop by and sing. On the night half the room had 'reserved seating', and the rest of it packed (at the opening 9.00 pm time). Even the most organised person couldn't plan the night if wrong information is... More

Was recommended the bistro by our hotel opposite. Glad they did! Nice welcome from the staff, they offered us a choice of tables. Friendly service throughout. Good menu, reasonable prices. The mini desert and coffee for £4 was a great way to end the meal too. Look forward to returning.

I stumbled across this place on a work night out and have been going ever since. Plenty of variety of food which is always of a high quality. Had my first 'medium' steak here and can say it was perfect! The pool hall at the very top is also a nice touch, always clean and well presented. I have only... More

We visited this pub from a recommendation from a tour guide we had whilst in Belfast. We ate in the main bar and I had shepherds pie and my husband had sausage and mash, both were very reasonably priced, I believe we paid just over £20 for both meals and a pint and a Diet Coke. The atmosphere was good... More

We stumbled on this one, the bar service was not that friendly, ginger man with beard can be skilled in dealing with foreigners. However the ambiance was fantastic, we enjoyed the Saturday night local and live traditional music ensemble.

This is a nice old pub with it's dark interior of wood and marble. Only thing wrong is it is too popular. We tried twice to get a drink but it was packed. Seats are at a premium and the bar area s solid with people. I'm sure it has a good selection of drinks but... There is an upstairs... More

Occasionally there's very good, often there's mediocre but the food in Robinson's bar is so goddam awful it beats them all! Inedible rubbish. Obviously no knowledgable local would eat there so it must be the unsuspecting visitors like ourselves who become the victims of such bad quality food. Disgrace for such an iconic city centre pub.
