Bad seating.

The whole complex is a bonus for Belfast.
Cafe is fine. Toilets for public a bonus.
But in a concert the seats are terrible.
My knees do not bend fully and I sit in front row. Legs hanging over edge.
Most uncomfortable seats ever.

Visit to a play.
Sep 2019 • Friends
I pop in and out to use toilets here and after reading brochures, decided to attend a play.
The staff are really nice and I enjoyed the Sam Cree play.
But being disabled with bad knees,I found it a very uncomfortable experience.
Two front row seats were reserved but they had board running along the front of the walk way area and the leg space was so small and if I tried to stretch out and rest my leg the board edge was sore on my leg.
Pity about this and obviously it is not designed for such disability.
But I plan to go back again. Toilets are clean and there is a coffee shop which opens during daytime.

This is a great venue in the University area. Lots going on and they have a very active Twitter feed if you want to keep up to date.

Attended Amanda St John and friends performing in aid of McMillan Cancer Unit
What an incredible night of entertainment and the sound was brilliant.

We didn't get a chance to use the cafe on this occasion but have in the past and it is very good.

Some really good work going on here in a fantastic building.

Seminar
Mar 2018 • Family
Brought my two girls here to this amazing Arts venue for a seminar. The kids were whisked away to play, so seminar in peace. It was held in the lecture hall and was all about happiness. What a superb venue for a great talk!!

Fantastic venue for workshops and classes
Aug 2017 • Family
Have been to a few activities here. Most recently a children's class in the dance studio which was great it's a no pressure sort of venue the centre encourages people to just have a go at something new and has a wide variety of classes and workshop for adults and children to try. The regular classes are priced well theyThey often take part in cultural events happening in Belfast so it's always worth checking their whats on section for new things. We caught a dance performance for children that my son talks about all the time. I think there is a children's play coming up this winter that looks interesting.

There is a coffee shop on ground floor and there is a lift to the upper floors. There is no car park but there's on street parking with meters along the street that runs from university road to botanic avenue and a electric car charge point is very near the building.

One of Belfast's jewels.

So much going on - spoilt for choice. Well priced workshops, classes, theatre /drama, art exhibitions.....a very inspirational arty place for all the family. Check out the current events online but they also have a paper programme issued a few times a year. Café as well, although it has limited choice is fine for a coffee and bite. Usually lots of information leaflets around on in reception of what's going on in Belfast generally. Lovely helpful staff. The building was renovated a few years ago and is bright, modern and airy with ample facilities. Even the swifts like it....

I love working here
Sep 2016 • Business
I work with a Drama group from children and we are based in the Crescent arts centre. The staff are lovely! And so helpful nothing is to much for them. The variety of class is huge there is something for everyone and each class is of a very high standard. Would recommend taking a class here to release your creative side or even book in to see a show.

This place is such an inspirational centre for arts. I mean arts of all kinds from sculptures to painting to art to plays and dance. There is lots for all ages. They are running so many interesting classes and workshops from September to December to suit everyone's creative streaks. I popped in to see what I could do....singing,dancing,keep fit, yoga, theatre, meditation, languages, writing, painting, drawing, wood carving and the list goes on. There is also a cafe on site.

Chamber babies
Aug 2016 • Family
Went to the chamber babies concert with our 5 month old. The facilities were modern and clean. The hall we were in had great acoustics, we thoroughly enjoyed the music, as did our little one. There was plenty of space for crawling tots. Great family friendly place, with change facilities. Didn't have time to try the café but will call in again.
