Great Night

I hadn't been to a concert in the Ulster Hall. Great night, staff very friendly and helpful. Good bar service and the concert itself was well organised with good sound and view.

In January we attended the James Vincent McMorrow concert. I had never been to the Ulster hall before and I really enjoyed it. We sat two rows from the back on the left hand-side, and the view was great. It's such a small venue that I don't think there is a bad seat in the house! The one negative that... More

We attended the Bagatelle concert at the Ulster Hall on December 28th. The staff in the upstairs bar were totally inept at taking orders - hence a queue, even when there were few people in. Orders were taken for the interval which we thought would lead to drinks waiting - but when the interval came most of the pre ordered... More

Enjoyed a classical lunch time concert of the UO here: the last time I was in this venue I was sat at the mixing desk for a rock concert!

Had another great evening at the 'Grand Dame of Bedford Street', courtesy of CAMRA NI. My fourth Belfast Beer & Cider Festival, just as good as the previous three. No sore head Saturday morning, just a longing to go back for more

The organ has about 3000 pipes I'm told, and as such is the biggest in Ireland. Well worth a visit as there is a also a gallery of Carey paintings at the back. Make sure you see them too

Beautiful historic venue, perfect for both music and comedy. BUT the most awful bar service EVER! I have visited twice in the last few weeks and have experienced bar disasters both times. First, Squeeze were playing and we popped to the bar for a quick refill. The bar wasn't overly busy but somehow the staff seemed to drag out serving... More
