Visited here with our summer scheme after visiting Indianaland. We only had a short stay as we had to get back for children to be collected. Even though we only had about 40 minutes of play time, the children had an amazing time and didnt want to leave. My only tiny issue was concerning the toilets. Although they were clean... More

This picture looks like Belfast Castle and not Stormont, but maybe I'm wrong? Don't remember turrets at Stormont.....

After an enjoyable lunch we joined the tour. It was most interesting, however, our guide was not very good. He did not know who Queen Mary's husband was and was rather unsure of some other historical facts. He looked rather unkempt.

We did the tour with a guide at 3.00pm on 21st July, whose grasp of English grammar left a lot to be desired.😡 It is difficult enough for those whose first language is not English to understand, without being confronted with confusing grammar. We were embarrassed as were some other locals in the group who had brought foreign visitors with... More

We drove here with an hour to spare, parked our car for free and trotted up the avenue to gawp at the spending neo-classical Parliament Building. We didn't do the paid-for tour (not enough time) but instead unpacked our sandwiches and read some BBC history pages about Northern Ireland rule over the past 100 years. Many UK kids don't get... We took the Stormont Parliament Building tour. Mickey was very informative and interesting. You can tell he likes his job. He remembered where most of us where from, no easy feat since we all were from all over the world. If you have time I would highly recommend going to this tour.

Visited at 2.00 pm on 15th July. Really interesting tour. Our guide was very informed and humorous and made the tour 'come alive'. Learned a lot about the history and it was great to see the two chambers and learn about the procedures. I understand the guide was a volunteeer so full marks to him for a job well done.

I took my two year old around the stormont building and she was entertained. The security staff were friendly and the woman working in the cafe was lovely too. The cafe is small, but reasonably priced. There is access for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The tour guide knew what he was talking about and could answer any questions our tour had.... More
