Visited here today to buy a book and was impressed with the range of history books available. We then decided to stay for lunch. Really good choice. We ordered beef stew and caesar salad. Food was lovely with sizeable portions. Staff was very friendly and service was prompt despite being busy. Radio Failte was broadcasting live from the culturlann and... More

West Belfast's cultural powerhouse, the Culturlann is the place to go for all things Irish, including art, music and books. In the middle of the Falls Road, a flashpoint during the three-decade-long conflict known locally as The Troubles, the Culturlann, in a tastefully renovated former church, is the beating heart of Irish-language culture in Belfast. Expect the staff and many... More

Eat here regularly. Good food, served by good staff in a nice place that promotes Irish history. The caesar salad is a delight. I would highly reccomend this place for anyone visiting Belfast.

The unionist/loyalist community could learn a thing or two about celebrating their culture in an inclusive manner. This place hosts art exhibitions and musical events celebrating Irish culture and has a lovely gift shop and cafe

There's a little bookstore where most of the books are in the Irish language and a few nicer Irish gifts, such as jewelry, scarves and pottery, are offered. The cafe has delicious desserts, scones and tea. This is a real bit of Irish culture. You will hear people speaking in Irish here.

If you can speak Irish or not it's still well worth visiting this centre. There is a book shop and a restaurant as well as a school out the back.
