Couldn't get a hotel so booked into my friend's old University. £40 for a single student's room, with en suite shower and WiFi and a 'full English' breakfast. Very secure, clean and would recommend it for female traveller's on a budget. It's in a good position for exploring Belfast - close to Botanic gardens and restaurants.

We visited the day of graduation, so there was too much going on to really walk the campus and get a good tour. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and was worth the stop.

Many lovely flowers, green grass with shaded areas to relax, open space for children to run around and quiet. Flowers every where.

The combination between an old building and so many young people there makes it very interesting! The building has so many intersting details, you need an eagles eye to see it, but wehen then wham!

QUB is a wonderful seat of learning that also throws itself open to public view. It is an historic place with fabled buildings as well as having a small piece of "Narnia" open to view through the wardrobe door and Aslan's presence is not far away... It's verdant setting, imposing buildings and historical content intertwines with state of the art... More

I appreciated the access provided to the grounds and galleries by the university. It cannot be easy to be a tourist site alongside an institution of higher learning. Don't miss the excellent gift shop.
