The front of the university is most impressive. Walk through the main entrance under the square tower into a quadrangle of more modern architecture and lawn area where graduation ceremonies are held. WC are conveniently located just inside the entrance where there is a giftshop with products carrying the university's logo. Ulster Museum and Royal Botanic Gardens are next door. The universtiy was a short stop and photo opportunity on our coach tour of the city.

As a member of the public you can go to the second floor of the library (for free and without prior arrangement) and just have a look at the CS Lewis Reading Room.
It's got lots of inspirational quotes in the room, a collection of his works and the entrance to the room (I'm told) is the Wardrobe Door they used in the most recent films.

We walked 20 minutes from city centre and were not disappointed. The Univeristy is well presented and garden manicured, extremely picturesque. Area is full of Victorian architecture that has been well preserved. Next door to university is the park and museum both worth spending time in.

A really beautiful building.
They let you visit almost everything. Inside it's a bit like a labyrinth, so do your best not to get lost.
I was surprised to see the toilets - never have I seen such beautiful, clean and grand toilets at the university.
Great Hall is really great.
I guess they have too many things for the place to be a museum or gallery in itself :)
You definitely should visit it.

Was poorly treated - having attended another university for my first semester I was deeply distressed at being in a class of over 300 and lack of interest from tutors - absolutely no facilities for counselling and help for those struggling to cope

Great picture point in Belfast. It’s free and next to botanic garden and ulster museum. So you go to one area for all 3 good places.

The buildings are amazing and a grand look back at days past and the way things use to be designed and built.
