We visited here for a family night out and we're well impressed with the lively friendly staff. If you want a seat you need to go early. Interesting decor. Toilets could be better maintained at busy times. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

My Northern Irish brother in law wrote me a list of things to do and next to the Duke of York he wrote a must! It is a stunning looking pub, really original. Lovely bar man and a great pint of Guinness.

Some great whiskys to choice from! Guitar man played all the requests from the crowd. Great bar to hit if you are in Belfast.

Visited here a lot when in Belfast and the Guinness is always great. Hard to concentrate when with friends as so much to take in with all the mementos on the walls. Would recommend a visit.

We went during an early afternoon of the Christmas holidays. It was quite quiet at the start, but soon got busier. Drinks were as expected, service was pleasant.

This pub looks intriguing from the outside.......What an interior, instantly impressed, clean friendly, and what a selection of whiskies. I went early afternoon, a few groups in eating drinking, I'll be re visiting later tonight, and hopefully see the pub busy.

We had a few drinks here between Christmas and New Year. It was packed when we arrived but we found a little ledge to stand at and then we eventually got a table in the window. The pub is just beautiful and they've put such effort into the decor. It's much bigger than it appears from the outside so even... More

Visited yesterday, New Years Eve twice. Went early in the afternoon, and it wasn't too busy, so we were served easily enough. Staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait at all. We came back later in the evening, and the bouncers were on the door by then. Understandably enough with it being NYE. Bar was busy, but we... More

This is a great bar, in the cathedral quarter of Belfast where there are also a number of other great bars. It is well run, and even when it is very busy, you never experience any hassle. The staff are knowledgeable and fast. The decoration is authentic. The atmosphere and the beer great. But what really sets this bar apart... More

Called into the pub with my wife for a drink before going onto a nearby restaurant. Went to the bar at the back where it wasn't so busy. Stood at the bar whilst the barman totally ignored us. He did have time to speak on two occasions to a colleague about doing a bit of tour guiding. After 10 minutes... More
