Great atmosphere, music and drinks

A friend said to go here and it certainly didn't disappoint! Great live music, drinks and atmosphere and the afternoon flew by.

This pub was recommended to us so we stopped in for a drink. It was not our cup of tea at all. It was far too busy (inside & out) therefore it took forever to be served. This is in no way a bad review on the bar staff as you could see they were doing their very best and... More

Cobbled street with outside benches. Eclectic inside with little cubbyholes for sitting and good selection of drinks. What's not to like?

The Duke of York hosts comedy nights on Tuesdays for just £3. I went to Dave's 'Titters and Ask' (stand up and good natured chat with the audience) last night and I've been to Mags's 'Dooty Frooty' cabaret night before too (drag, music, comedy etc). Really brilliant value for £3 in the upstairs bar! Good craic if you're happy to... More

Date night with my wife was amazing. It was a stand up comedy night with our MC David and three fab comedians Sarah, Rebecca and Donny. Great value and not for the easily offended!!!!!!

Great pub, found via the power of Trip Advisor. We were in Northern Ireland and had a day in Belfast and searched out this place. We would never have found it as its down a tiny alley way but when you arrive it's a flower filled street with seats outside. The pub is old, characterful and full of brewing memorabilia... More

My first visit and would go back. Located in a wonderful alley way with quirky styling and amazing artwork in the courtyard opposite. Great atmosphere and the décor was quite cool.

Order a drink?? You could catch a bus to Dublin and get a vodka and coke served to you quicker than the service in this bar!! The staff know they are snails and that is the rather frustrating part. This place is busy because this it is the centre to be cathedral quarter but if you are looking good craic,... More
