Brilliant atmosphere, great location.

Plenty of space outside on a warm evening, lots to look at inside. Plenty of good beers and quick service.

Lively pub with so much to look at on the walls. Many beers on tap and a great atmosphere. Glad we popped in for a pint.

Set in a wide alley this bar is a great place to meet friends and catch up. You can either drink inside or outside as the alley is well presented and maintained with seating. In addition across from the bar there is a courtyard which exhibits a lot of wall art celebrating Belfast's past and present history. In addition there... More

Love this wee bar. Culture week was brilliant with the live music and lights outside the bar. Craic was 90 on the wee benches outside and felt like a holiday at home. Id be happy for culture week to extend on indefinitely! Or maybe just at the DOY?

Stopped in here and had a pint as part of our 'small streets walking tour'. Great atmosphere both inside and out. The pub is full of memorabilia with old mirrors depicting various drinks! The pub has a courtyard which is surrounded by wall murals and old photos. It's very interesting to see them. Depicts a part of Belfast's history.

This is a great place for a few drinks either by yourself, couples, or groups. The decor inside is the best. Staff are very helpful and the all the drinks are great. Sit outside and enjoy the "Crac"

This pub is very unusual in that it's like in a courtyard which is surrounded by wall murals and old photos etc. It's very interesting to see them. You can just sit outside and enjoy your beer surrounded by these relics of a by gone day. Well wort a vist

A friend recommended this and what a cracker, fab interior with nostalgia in bucket loads with old pub features and drink slogans to remind you of a bygone age, great live solo artist that really got the crowd going, brilliant atmosphere, didn't feel out of place, staff brilliant too. Definitely be back, give it a go!

Yet another great city centre pub in Belfast. Great atmosphere both inside and out. We got seating outside in the lane at the front of the bar. A constant throng of happy people passing and we even saw a bridal party stop for a photo shot. A super pub with friendly bar staff

If you're visiting Belfast be sure to drop in to the Duke of York...its full of memorabilia with old mirrors related to various drinks!! It's a locals' favourite with many tourists visiting to capture the ambience and vibes!!! The drink is reasonably priced, the outdoor seating is 'par excellence' with many photo opportunities for the dedicated tourist!!!
