Beautiful garden, a lot smaller than I expected, but a nice memorial nonetheless. So sad to see all the names of all.the people that died

We visited Belfast and City Hall which is in the centre of Belfast. Inside the grounds there is the Titanic Memorial Gardens which commemorates the 1512 people who lost their lives when the Titanic sank.
It is set out around a centre statue with seating and flowers. The flower beds have the colours of ice and water. There is also a memorial listing all the names. It is one of the events in history that people know about and are intersted in the history.

We just nipped through the grounds of city hall, definitely worth a visit. All the names brings home the scale of the disaster. Many names our kids recognised from knowing the history.

Just to the side of city hall. A very good memorial to those that sailed on the Titanic. The plaque lists everyone that was lost in the disaster. Just to one side is a statue to Thomas Andrews who designed the ship

This memorial in the grounds of City Hall commemorates the names of everyone lost in the Titanic disaster. A plaque surrounded by trees and shrubs as well as a statue marks this poignant tribute.

A time for quiet contemplation, sadness and remembering all the men, women and children, including eleven members of the Sage family from Peterborough, who lost their lives in this terrible tragedy.

This lovely, well kept garden is a fitting memorial to remember all those who lost their lives on the Titanic. We found the name of our relative here, a crew member, alongside the rich and famous who also perished.

Small but relevant memorial with a beautiful statue and plaque bearing the names of all those who perished.
In the heart of the city next to Belfast City Hall. A lovely area to sit and reflect.
