Timescape is exciting themed live escape games in the heart of Belfast city, bringing immersive and thrilling puzzle rooms to life! An “Escape Game” or “Escape Room” is an interactive adventure where you and your team will have one hour to complete a mission and escape the room. Escaping will require teamwork, quick thinking, determination and a sense of urgency! From the moment you step into your game, you’ll be totally immersed in our world.

Bought this for our daughters 14th birthday, she loves puzzles. This was perfect, we were there with two 14 year olds, a twenty year old and ourselves, both over 49! I haven’t seen anything that has made us all work together before. The two teenagers were in their element, the twenty year old was really involved as well. It was brilliant. Our guide gave us plenty of time to work out the clues, but was also there to assist with prompts if we needed them. I would really recommend this room for those that really like to tackle a challenge, get the brain cells working. We will be back to timescape again in the future as they have other rooms to attempt! But we’ll worth five stars and a great way to pass an hour!

First escape room for the two of us- found the wizarding theme of Spellbound appealing as we're not at all into horror/zombie type stuff. Sis not disappoint - great way to spend an hour! The room was really well designed with a lot of attention to detail in terms of set dressing, which made it really immersive. Challenging enough to be interesting, but not too difficult- highly recommend if you're the sort of person who struggles to switch off from daily life as this just hits the sweet spot of being engaging but also fun!

Timescape final hour was an incredibly enjoyable escape room. Sarah was extremely helpful and kind with instructions and added to our overall enjoyment of the experience. Would definitely recommend for any beginner or experienced escape room participants and no better city to do an escape room about the Titanic!!

visited the jack the ripper room with a friend who adores all things ripper as a criminal psychologist and we both absolutely loved it! she was amazed by how accurate all of the info in the room was and we were both so shocked and thrilled by how dynamic the whole experience was. we had cat as our game master and she was the best fun, we had such a great time with her and she really made the game so much fun. we were super proud of ourselves for being able to figure it all out and escape with 10 mins remaining.
i’d recommend timescapes to anyone, it’s such a fab activity at an incredibly reasonable price. can’t wait to return and try out their other rooms!

We did the Spellbound escape room and we throughly enjoyed it. We found it a bit difficult to get started but the clues were really helpful and we soon got into it. We would highly recommend for something different to do whilst in the city and the location meant it was very central and easy to walk to.

For those people who have rated their experience poor need to understand the concept of the escape room. This has had to be one of the most challenging but enjoyable experiences I've had in a long time. T was the host and he was brilliant at explaining the rules of the game along with bringing the Titanic experience to life. Can't really say much more as information could be seen as a clue. This is well worth it so don't miss the opportunity to miss a fantastic experience. Just make sure you get off that ship before it sinks.

It’s such a fantastic venue!
Let me start off by saying I have done many an escape room (probs spent more than I should have) in lots of locations. If I’m on a trip I have to squeeze an escape room into the schedule.
At the time of writing this I’ve completed all 3 rooms they have available at various points. None of these have disappointed. The Titanic one is amazingly themed with ingenious nautical puzzles. You genuinely feel like you’re on a ship! The Jack the Ripper was definitely a little more tougher but just as good if not better. As for Spellbound it’s brilliant themed, but rather easy in my opinion. Now that being said I completed the other rooms in groups of 4 and 3 respectively but the Spellbound a group of 5. So generally more heads the easier it was and we all are again nerds about escape rooms. That’s not really a downside but just if you’re planning a larger group visit you’ll be out in no time.
My main compliment is the sheer quality of the rooms and props. They are of the highest class and I’ve seen a lot of half assed rooms at a higher price rate. Everything in the room just feels and looks genuine. The Spellbound room may have been easy for us but it looked sensational.
It’s not really a spoiler but all rooms are multi room which is excellent, I don’t enjoy single room games cause you don’t get much excitement progressing.
The staff is the other high point. Each visit was met with a different super friendly “game master”, you could see their excitement for the job and were happy to be there. Rather than just someone trying to get through the shift. It does mean a lot, we were the last group of the day at one and they were still smiling.
I’ve done a few other rooms in Belfast in the last few years and Timescape are miles ahead and cheaper!

Me and a group did the "Jack the Ripper" escape room to kill time. The experience was amazing and as a first escape room it was very accessible. The room was well paced and did not require outside knowledge allowing for a smooth experience.
The room was rewarding and intuitive, each player feels as if they are involved as a parallel structure is used.
The puzzles were rewarding with heavy visual feedback on solving puzzles. 'Our Game Master' Jack was on the ball and tailored our experience to our skill level, any hints revealed enough information to remove us from a sticky situation and no more.
Would highly recommend as it is an immersive experience and will 100% be trying other rooms here.

Visited with a hen party and it was perfect for our group! Did the Jack the Ripper experience and Emma, our guide was fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and have all told numerous people about our positive experience. I'd personally love to try the other 2 experiences available as well. Highly recommended!

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time completing the Jack The Ripper escape room. Our escape master was Kat, she was flawless at getting us immersed in the atmosphere of the task, and was very helpful when needed. Very friendly staff in general. Will definitely be going again to try another one of the escape rooms they have to offer. Amazing!!
