A free walking tour based on gratuities is a fantastic way to orient oneself to a new city and its history. Our guide, Dave was very passionate in sharing the stories of Northern Ireland and Belfast as well as recount many personal experiences in the city that he grew up in and so dearly loves.

Happy to have been a part of this walking tour. 150 minutes flew by quickly and at the end of it, he was happy to offer suggestions on local dining and shopping experiences.

We have visited Belfast before but haven’t done any sort of tours, we were delighted we booked on the tour this time! Brian W was so friendly, knowledgeable and absolutely hilarious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the places we visited. It is a great way to explore the city if you are unfamiliar or even familiar and Brian W will recommend some great places for a drink especially a Guinness 😃

The best part was the easy but professional communication by our guide Brian W. He gave us a substantial overview of the history of Belfast with knowledge, enthusiasm and an evident live of his city. I particularly appreciated the balance he brought to possibly contentious isuues and events. Many thanks Jean Cork

We had our tour with Barbara, who when we asked at the end told us it was only her second month as a guide! I was blown away, I would never have guessed, seeing as how natural it was for her. She really made the city come alive by sharing her personal connection with it from growing up there in the 70s & 80s. The tour was great at not focusing only on The Troubles and gave a great overview of how the city came to be, and how it developed during the industrial revolution. Barbara especially was a treasure, and gave us a great recommendation on an Irish tavern to cozy up in afterwards next to a warm fire. Big thanks to her!

Our guide Barbara was amazing! It was raining all the time and she kept the good humor and take us to see Belfast anyway, told us so many things that I will never forget and made my travel so much more precious. It was lovely and so rich, I totally recommend to do it to get to know the place and see this place through the eyes of someone who loves where she lives. So special for me and my mom! Love it!!

Dave was an excellent tour guide. He clearly feels passionately about educating visitors to Belfast on the history and culture, past present and future, of the city, Northern Ireland and the island of Ireland at large. I enjoyed the variety of the sites and stories He shared with us and his recommendations too were very helpful for guiding ongoing exploration of the city. Thank you for a fantastic introduction to Belfast!

Really enjoyed our afternoon walking round Belfast city centre and our tour guide Dave was both informative and entertaining. Definitely saw so much more and learned loads more than we would have done just walking round ourselves. I would have no hesitation recommending this tour to everyone. Thanks again.

We spent 2 hours on a walking tour, which was fantastic and learned a lot about the history of Belfast and the Titanic. The guide explained the city's tragedy and how it overcame the struggle. I recommend this walking tour to anyone who is interested in learning about Northern Ireland's history and the history of Belfast.
If you can, please leave a tip for the guide.

We met our guide Dave with his Yellow Umbrella by the City Hall and were given an interesting and informative tour of the main attractions together with a potted history of the capital city. The tour lasted a little over 2 hours and was a very useful insight especially for folk like ourselves who had not visited Northern Ireland before. He managed to cover virtually all of the main sights and also tell us some amusing stories. Highly recommended.

Barbara did a great job showing us around the city. A bit of history, most famous landmarks, and many quirky stories. I had a great time and it certainly gave me a good overview of what to see and do in Belfast (heads up if you're into pub crawls: the crown, Joy's entry and fibber magee for live music)
Great to hear that firsthand from someone who was born and raised in the city and lived through the troubles and experienced Belfast moving forward in recent years. Thoroughly recommend
