The three of us booked the Mumbles Bunker escape room for a very wet bank holiday Sunday afternoon. Our team consisted of one total newbie to escape rooms, and 2 who have done a number of escape rooms before at different locations.
Our host was Maddie who was great fun. Before we started our one hour countdown she took us through a safety demo and answered any questions that we had.
The room itself was well-themed, full of great puzzles, although our group tended to overthink some of them rather than take the answer that was right in front of us.
We did have an issue with a lock which opened to a combination that it should not have although this worked to our advantage! This meant we fell a bit out of sync with the activities but Maddie was sure to steer us so we did not waste our time on (now) redundant activities.
The room is broken down into 2 areas and the second room will require the team to bend down slightly to enter. Not an issue, but something to be aware of.
We managed to escape with just under 5 minutes to spare, and posed for a team victory photo at the end which was uploaded to Facebook (with our consent).
The newbie had a great first time escape room experience and we would all highly recommend to both newbies and escape room veterans. Although the newbie is now gloating about his 100% success rate at escaping.....

Oldies got out, youngsters are still in their room. Lucas and Rosie were great hosts. 3 oldies went in one room, Rosie was great explaining everything and giving us clues/guidance when needed. We found the murderer and got out with 5 minutes to spare. Our 3 children and one friend went in to another room. They failed to escape much to their embarassment. Highly recommend this attraction. Great fun.

We were all blown away by how good the escape room was at Breakout Live Swansea. I personally have done many of these types of challenges and the 'Prison Break' room was definitely one of the best.
I was so impressed with how it was put together and loved the concept! Lucas (our host) was brilliant - really informative and funny with it. His subtle hints along the way when he knew how close we were to 'cracking the codes' came in very handy and we escaped with just minutes to spare!
I would certainly recommend this experience to anyone in Swansea!

Went with my nephew (14) and niece (8), we did the prison escape one, we didn't make it out in time, but that didn't dampen our experience.
I really enjoyed the experience and the 2 children loved it, they like me want to go back and beat the room and definately will.
The youngest one enjoyed the tasks I give her, the eldest was smarter than me!
Charlotte was amazing as the host, explained everything clearly before hand and jokes about the room and when we asked for hints and without giving the answer away directly, it give us the nudge we needed to solve the piece of puzzle to move on. Afterwards she was very friendly.t
The 3 of us are coming back to beat the room, the youngest said next half term? I said yes and I guess one of the activities for a day off in October half term is sorted :)

Went to breakout live last night with 5 friends, we originally booked for 6 but one of us couldn’t make it, we got the amount refunded which was really nice. Did the prison break, didn’t manage to escape :,( but nevertheless it was really fun and the puzzles were decent which was nice. We were given enough help to gently help us along (and not make me feel dumb) which was greatly appreciated. The room doesn’t look like much but there’s a lot more to it than meets the eye. I highly recommend it, if you’re planning to go but are hesitant, don’t hesitate! Staff are extremely lovely and helpful. Shoutout to Maddie, so patient and sweet which we appreciate especially at that time of night we understand how tiring it can get. Definitely plan to book again sometime when we can get everyone together x

What a last minute delight!
It entertained three adults and one late teen, this was a perfect something to do whilst having a one night stop over in Swansea.
As a family we have frequented many Escape Rooms, in our opinion this room was fantastic. Without giving anything away the games was well thought out with some great puzzles and clues.
Maddie our game host was fantastic, she was friendly and when needed she gave us just enough information to help us on our way but didn’t spoil the game for us. She spoke in riddles which kept us on our toes.
If we’re in the area again we would definitely visit again to do another room. Thanks Maddie for a great game.

Had a fantastic time completing the Voyager Room with just over 4 minutes to spare. Amber was an incredible host, presenting us with clues (when we asked) that weren't too revealing, but helped spark new ideas on what to try next, she also was great at capturing a team photo we all liked. The gentleman who greeted us and signed us in was also extremely welcoming and accommodating.

My second visit with friends, with our first win achieved. On both ocations having Lucas as host, the guy remaines professional while also having a good sense of humour.
The contraptions and puzzles making up the rooms are constructive and whacky. Having great fun solving them. Only one or two of the puzzles are quite hard to interpret the actions needed to complete.
My only concern for the place is the replayability of the scenarios ouce you've already been through them (weather that's win or lose).

Thank you to Rosie who was a fab host to the Prison Breakout game, loved it when she kept the character of the game “of course, prisoners..”.
Didn’t make it unfortunately, but was very challenging and exciting to experience… the clues were phenomenal and they really made it feel realistic. Would go back again anytime!

Myself and 3 friends visited breakout live in Swansea and had a fantastic time. From start to finish Lucas was brilliant, he explained the room and the dos and fonts in a fun way and was in thecharacter whilst doing so. We asked for 3 clues throughout and he gave them to us in a way that didn’t ruin it, they still made us think about them. We managed to escape with 4 minutes and 39 seconds to spare. Excellent experience and will definitely be back to the other room. Highly recommend
