I first saw this bay from the window of the No.3 bus to the Mumbles and I couldn't wait to start walking to see everything more closely. The sands are so inspiring you just want to walk for miles!

Best beach on Gower. Shame it is so popular now - used to be able to visit 20 years ago and not see a soul. Still beautiful and serene regardless.

The best way to get to the beach is to walk through the woods opposite Shepherds shop and follow the river, down to the beach where you can enjoy bathing. There is a need to be careful,to watch the tide coming in as the river...More

This beach is stunning but its a shame that the walk is quite a distance was hard for the kids to get back to the car after a day worth of swimming. on the plus side, they slept all the way home

What a stunning quiet secluded gem in the South/West Wales foot print! Well worth a visit and walk along the natural stream coming on to the beach and discover its coves and caves

In all honesty it is a woodland path with tree roots, leaves and uneven ground - you can access this path opposite the Shepherds shop . . . . but it would not be user friendly for someone on crutches!
