9 of us visited this golf club, and without any question, it was the most hospitable club any of us have ever visited. The pro and every member of staff (and club captain) made us so welcome. The course was a good challenge particularly as there was a stiff breeze. A delicious meal followed with generous portions - too generous for most of us!! A really big thank you to everyone there. Would recommend golfers give it a try.

A bit off the beaten track, but when you get there the clubhouse is a lovely airy building.
They do a good Sunday lunch with a view.
A challenging course so I am told and 18 hole.

If you like your golf, you will love the Pontrdawe golf course. Lots of interesting holes and they have their own duck house on an island!!. Many thanks to the staff who made us feel very welcome, and the breakfast we had was fabulous (great value for the money) Any golfer that happens to be in the area must go there. Superb

A terrific golf course with stunning views up the Swansea Valley to Pen Y Fan and the Brecon Beacons and down the Valley to Swansea Bay and, on a clear day, across the Channel to Ilfracombe. The signature holes, 11, 13 and 16 would sit comfortably on any golf course in the world.
A wonderfully welcoming, large clubhouse, with a new (Raymond Blanco, I believe, trained) chef. The golf club has, in the last year, taken over the running of the restaurant and the improvement in the already fine food has been nothing short of dramatic.
Highly recommended.

An outstanding golf course with unforgettable panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons on one side and Swansea / Mumbles on the other.
The course is kept in top notch condition considering the weather conditions this part of the world faces on a daily basis, all thanks to Head GreensKeeper Jamie Probert and his amazing greens team.
Excellent food and drink available throughout the week and I must recommend the Sunday lunch, amazing value and superb food. Wonderful bar and catering staff and Steffan Jones the Professional has a new fully stocked pro shop.
I 100% recommend a visit in order to appreciate this amazing ‘hidden gem’ in Pontardawe !

Golf course is okay. Old top nine better that new stretch. Nice panoramic views and 16th is signature hole. Greens not the best. Went to 19th hole and no bar staff for over 10 ins. Member kindly went in search of bar staff and didn't return either! Beware of the 20th hole - a black one!!!
