So glad we decided to stop at this castle. We had the place to ourselves and enjoyed the views.

Note: there is a sign that say no dogs, probably because of the three who live in the house where we bought the tickets.

Parking: there are a few spots on the left as you approach the castle. Worked for us since it wasn't busy at all

This interesting ruin gives a fascinating insight into bygone years.Set in an atmospheric, breezy setting, it is worth a visit if you're in the area.

Stopped for a cuppa and a wander round the castle. Tea shop staff sitting outside drinking tea, but informed us they had no tea, or other drinks for sale. We were offered water instead. Complete lack of interest shown by staff in anything yo do with the castle, so we didn't bother. Perhaps an unfair review of the castle, which may be wonderful, but staff attitude put us off completely.

Interesting if small with great views over countryside. It’s most definitely open too. Have a great gelato ice cream there too.

We visited this fortified manor house as we left Llanmadoc to return home. The morning was bright and sunny and for £4 we had a delightful time wandering around the interesting ruins, reading the info and absorbing the peace, quiet and wonderful view over the salt marsh. Maybe best of all was the pot of tea for two provided by the lovely lady at the farmhouse which set us up for the journey home; added bonus of clean outside loo in the grounds.A really pleasant visit.

After visiting Rhossili bay we saw signs to this Castle and headed for it on Wednesday 9th Sept. There was sufficient space for about 4 or maybe 5 cars outside (there was a sign saying no cars beyond this point). A sign did direct one to the nearby farmhouse for farmhouse meat and to pay for tickets to the Castle. Unfortunately the exhibition room was closed and apart from exploring the castle (about 20 mins) and then taking numerous photos of the keep and the surrounding Loughor estuary that was that. I would only spend about 30 minutes!

Interesting castle in farm yard so no dogs due to farm dogs. Informative guide book that covers Oxwich castle as well.

Not a very nice place with nothing to do, the only good thing was the view over the valley towards the sea. Not even worth the price of entry.

We were fortunate to arrive at Weobley as the sun set, casting an extraordinary light on the landscape and the castle. Not only is the location of the castle good but the inside is also worth seeing. An area displaying pictures of castles in the area with comments on the history is worth seeing, although the displays desperately need to be cleaned to
make reading them easier. Overall well worth seeing.
