This is a fabulous beach located in its own cove. It is safe to bathe in the sea and the beach is sandy clean and safe. Picturesque views and a lovely spot on a sunny day.

I visited Oxwich Bay last week as part of my holiday, and I am glad I did. The beach is absolutely beautiful and offers stunning views. It is very popular and was very busy, but stretches for miles so you won't be disturbed wherever you sit. There are facilities on site including a restaurant, toilets and plenty of parking space.... Unbeatable on a day like this, with easy access from the city and away from crowds. Close by is the excellent Oxwich Bay Inn. Ideal for any beach lover and fabulous for toddlers with a gentle reach to the water's edge for paddling and swimming. Mind the notices about inflatables and currents, though.

This is a really stunning bay with the carpark adjacent to the beach Walks on the beach and on the coast path are stunning in both directions. The only negative thing are the dogs, lots of them with owners who don't always clear up the mess! Unless dog owners clear up dogs should be banned from beaches. Also owners who... More

What more to say: one of the most beautiful beaches of the UK. a long sandy beach not only to relax but also to interesting boat trips along the stunning Gower Coast. Nearby the little church with origins from the 6th century, dedicated to St. Illtyd, a scholar who founded here the first Christian academia in Wales. A sacred well... More

Beautiful beach. Paid to park but worth it. Clean free toilets. Dog friendly, clean beach and you can walk for miles. Views are superb so well worth it.

This beach is so clean and dog-free that I wish I lived there! We visited after we found it by chance. It wasn't signposted, and no wonder because it is idyllic and I'm sure the locals prefer it that way. The sand is fine and clean and the water is clear and warm - perfect!!!
