Cultural Tours

The mythical west Wales tour.

On this tour you are accompanied by a historian with a deep passion and knowledge of Wales. You will learn some Welsh, sample traditional Welsh food and learn about the ancient history and culture of Wales. Gareth, your guide is a fluent Welsh speaker and he will give you an insight into Wales that wouldn't be available with a standard tour operator.
The area we will visit is dotted with quaint old towns and picturesque villages which seem untouched by time. The South West is the home of Pembrokeshire coast national park, and is an area renowned for the beauty of its beaches and coastline. For the lovers of castles there many to discover with Carreg Cennen, Pembroke and Kidwelly being three of the most impressive.
An example of a tour could be a visit to the wonderfully preserved Norman Castle at Pembroke, then lunch in the beautiful medieval port of Tenby followed by a stop off in Laugharne, the former home of the poet Dylan Thomas.

This is a lovely beach, lots of sand and dog friendly Parking costs £5 which you give to a man on the entrance, lots of room to park. The beach is accessed through sand dunes - part of the way out is on a boardwalk but the exit is through the dunes and can be a bit taxing if you aren't fit

Weather permitting it’s a beautiful beach at low tide with long stretches of revealed sand to walk and play on. There’s nothing to do other than your own imagination or surf sports. Needs better car parking options at the caravan park as you get hauled over by the mafia for full charge without cheaper options for a quick visit. Gets busy with surfers when there’s a good swell

OMG best beach so far in United Kingdom!! Went there for 2 days, and wish that could stay there forever! Love the waves, nice cafe nearby for a sandwich and milkshake. Sun was out, love the tan! Space for everyone. Will definitely come back
