One of numerous beautiful beaches on the Gower, but this one has the added benefit of public toilets and cafes. The car park charges are reasoanble too.

Visited this afternoon to get some air in my lungs. Took a long walk along the cliff walking path, which you forget how beautiful it is and how tiring it can be also. The bay itself was quite empty as it is the middle of winter, but for me that is when it is more magical, no tourists or locals... More

Blue badge beach on beautiful Gower Peninsula. When tide is out large sandy beach great for games and activities. Good beach for surfing. Will be busy in the Summer, especially on weekends and during school holidays. Toilet facilities available. Parking including disabled parking - short walk across the road to the beach. Beach shops and cafe.

Reward yourself after a cliff walk (with some steep slopes and steps)with a coffee or breakfast in one of the cafes and kiosks selling beach paraphenalia opposite a large carpark with toilets. Popular with families, surfers and coasteerers.

Apart from the last time I went, there were bags of dog poop on the beach. I'm talking multiple bags. A shame as it's a lovely beach, should be looked after better.

Took the dogs down for the day, out of season so they are allowed on the beaches now, I think every dog owner in the area must have thought the same, it was crowded but boy was it cold, minus 1 with a wind chill of minus 5, still it was lovely. Amazing that the only rubbish and refuse on... More

Very little here except for a seaside shop and a fantastic fish and chip shop. BUT the most fantastic beach on the Gower. Crab ponds, golden sands, safe sea jus as it used to be when you were young but without too man tourists. Aaaahhh!

Caswell Bay is a lovely spot, part of the Gateway to Gower. Its beach is lovely and, at the right times, a favourite spot of surfers. The jury remains out on the addition of cafe and burger bar, junk shops and so on, but they are not appealing to us. The worst factor, as with all the lovely beaches on... More
