If you like avoiding the drunken mess that is Wind St, Copper is a far quieter and more pleasant place for a pint and a natter. I've been several times and the staff are always friendly and pleasant.

Great place to relax and chat! Friendly staff and comfy sofas. Cakes looked lovely although having already eaten we resisted the temptation.

Often call to the Copper Bar , afternoon usually for hot drink , it's a great alternative venue, good view over square to church and light window frontage. I only had a Hot Chocolate (tues.2:30pm-ish)and it was tasty and perfectly extra hot without even asking!...More
