From the moment of enquiry to booking and organising our family kayaking trip everything was very professional. Cathy was quick to respond and very friendly. It was an easy process to book and pay for our day, directions and where to meet were very simple and clear.

We spent the day on the water with Simon who was very friendly & knowledgeable about the coast. He went out of his way to organise the day according to our abilities and needs.
Despite a day of poor visibility in the sea mist we still had a great day. Stopping at a beach for lunch we learnt a lot about the sea life in the rock pools. We also had the opportunity to swim. Simon was a great guide, we wouldn't hesitate to book with Gower adventures again.

We had a fantastic time on the Neath Canal canoeing with Simon! He's incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and tailored the session to our needs. He knew when to push us, introduce new techniques and let us test them out. The scenery was lovely, we stopped for lunch in a nice spot and had a chat.
We booked last minute, so can't thank Gower Adventures enough for having us! It was very good value for money as well - when we're next in Wales we'll be back for more adventures!

We book for a family of 5 climbing and absailing session. The day we arrived it was raining and foggy and as our instructor wanted us to have the best experience she was really flexible about moving it a few days.
The day we did it was beautiful blue skies and the scenery was absolutely stunning.
We had a mixed ability group and she was amazing, ensuring everyone got a great experience and the appropriate challenge for each of us.
Joanne was really knowledgeable about all things climbing, the coast line and also the science and rock questions our boys threw at her!
A very memorable activity from our holiday, highly recommend.

Booked a rock climbing experience for my young family but got so much more!

This was a first for my young son (7) and niece (10) and Simon planned for their age and inexperienced perfectly. Starting the day with scrambling and weaselling to build up their confidence, as well as educating them on all thing geological and creature wise along the way. Moving on to rock climbing and abseiling, starting on a small cliff side and moving on to something more challenging after. The adventure lasted about 5 hours in all and the children loved it. The adults did too.

Thanks Simon, you were fantastic and I’m sure we’ll be back. We couldn’t recommend you more.

Went climbing with my daughters aged 20 and 11. Simon immediately put us all at ease, showed us what do do and how best to do it. The climbs were hard and technical but hugely rewarding and with Simon's guidance we all managed them and felt a massive sense of achievement.

Simon is very knowledgeable not just about climbing but also in the local area and was able to fill us in on the history and also on top tips of things to do.

For a full days private activity this is great value for money and we would certainly do it again!

We booked Gower adventures on recommendation from the scout camp we were staying, and we weren't disappointed.

Simon led a group of 11 scouts through the caves, and they all had a fantastic time. Simon made the whole trip informative and great fun, and I'm sure all the scouts now have amazing memories which will stay with them for a long time.

Many thanks!

Two great days spent with gower adventures. Kayaking and rock climbing. Friendly, fun, experienced instructors who took it all at our family pace. Beautiful spot on three cliffs bay rock climbing and abseiling, a whole new experience for us as a family which we thoroughly enjoyed. Kayaking on Oxwich bay, swapping kayaks etc. all good fun. Sensible approach to COVID-19. We will be booking again on our next hols.

Just to say what a great time we had with Simon at Gower Adventures for our first time rock climbing. Three Cliffs was a great place to do it and Simon showed us the ropes (quite literally) and made us want to return to climb again. Highly recommend.

My 3 daughters and I spent the day at three cliffs learning to climb with Simon. Although we have spent some time climbing indoors, no one in the family had any experience on real rocks. We started by learning how to anchor ropes in the rocks at the top and Simon explained the different types of blocks that are used as well as the most appropriate knots. Then we are had a ‘warm up’ climb down to the beach. With confidence instilled we moved on to a more challenging section - higher, steeper and more difficult to climb - and spent the rest of the afternoon climbing and abseiling up and down. My daughters, who had shown some push back when I initially suggested rock climbing, loved it. They were pushed outside of their comfort zones and the smiles on their faces when they reached the top for the first time was a delight! Fantastic daylight that started at 10am and ended just after 5pm. Simon is a knowledgeable and experienced guide who knows when and when not to push and encourage. My children, who are 9,10 and 11 years old loved it and are already asking when we can go back again.

Thanks for a great day! Richard

We spent a day sea kayaking from Oxwich. We started the day with some instruction from Simon and a chance to test our skills in the bay before heading out around the coast for a picnic on the rocky shore and a visit to a sandy beach after which we returned to Oxwich with the tide helping us along. We saw lots of wildlife including seals and some beautiful jellyfish and a wreck not far offshore. Simon was careful, knowledgeable and relaxed, which inspired confidence and led to a wonderful day out. Thank you.
