Best wedding venue
Sep 2015
We got married here on September 5th, Sam and her team were were amazing and organised everything so well, they were all a great support and the day was incredible and all went to plan and more. I would recommend this venue to anyone... We have the best memories from this place that will stay with us forever. Thanks to you all at The Wharf

Wedding party
We held a belated wedding party at the Wharf in December for my brother and sister-in-law who got married abroad earlier in 2014. The night was lovely, aided by great food and helpful staff. It was a fabulous night enjoyed by all and we would like to thank the Wharf for helping us pull it off. Thank you!

Always a good time!
We visit the wharf almost every year around Christmas time. The food was delicious, couldn't fault the service. A lovely little pub to sit with friends. Fair play to the staff who ordered our taxi for us and came and told us when it arrived, even took us to it. Great service.

Party at the wharf.. Remortgage house
Very expensive night at the wharf, why places like this charge such ridiculous prices is beyond me because I will never return. Sad really because it does look like a nice place to come and have a meal but this has put me right off !!!!

Two drinks £10.20
I know we are in Cardiff but that's taking the biscuit

My daughter recently got married at the Wharf and I cannot really fault the level of service provided by the manager and staff, very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much.

ITS pay parking for starters, but when we arrived and ordered our food and drinks from a young man called STEVE! we were told that we could get a refund before we left.
we waited an hour in a 3/4 empty bar for our starter which was garlic bread, and it only arrived after i'd asked the manager where our order was!!! to add insult to injury it was cold and burnt!!! we had a shorter wait for the mains but the lasagne has really gone down hill, it was a small portion, again burnt around the edges and our chips were also rock hard as they were over cooked, good point was that at least this course was hot! my brother paid an extra 50p for large chips and had the same size portion as me, he had gammon and his fried egg was also overcooked!!
we did decide to order deserts of choc fudge cake which is cold but that took a further 25 minutes and they got the order wrong!! I told the waitress that id I had to wait another 25 mins for my cake i'd rather a refund, I magically got my portion after about 5 minutes..

just before we left the pub we went to the bar to get the refund which we got, along with a lecture from a female bar person who told us that we really should have asked for this when we made our order!! WHICH WE DID!!

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL, I HAVE NEVER COME OUT OF A PLACE FEELING SO ANGRY IN MY LIFE, THESE PEOPLE ARE USELESS!! THE FOOD IS WAY BELOW ANY DECENT STANDARDS, THE SERVICE WAS NON EXISTANT AND THE STAFF WERE TOTALLY CLUELESS.. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN DEFINATELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE TO EITHER.
