Mermaid Quay is a lovely place for a day out. Plenty of things to see and do. The Senydd, Museum, Dr Who experience and loads more. It has many eating places and you can take a boat ride over to Penarth which is very pleasant....More

While the quay can become quite busy, early in the morning/ night, there are not many people here and it's a lovely spot to just sit and reflect. During the day and into the night, there a lot of great pubs and restaurants around ....More

Lots of places to eat and a few to shop in in this collection of new buildings and rehabbed old ones clustered on the Bay. Some good Bay views. But unfortunately the area lacks vitality and a critical mass of people.

Lots of places to eat and drink. Very modern. Lovely at night out up. Felt safe. Can be expensive. Great views.

Daughter lives in Cardiff and suggested walking round the quay and having a spot of lunch. Loads of places to choose from. Easy to push pray around. Loads to see.

We had luckily a sunny day and it was beautiful to have a walk on the mermaid quaid. There are some small cafès and restaurants and also a small merry go round for the kids.

This is a popular place, specially for its bars, pubs but I also think it's nice to hang out there because being close to water is calming

We have visited the Mermaid Quay twice now and love the place. There always seems to be something going on - from organised concerts to buskers (some were brilliant) and there are lots of great places to eat and just hang out.

Disapointed with the lack of interesting non generic resturants. Nothing individual at all, just pub grub. All the restaurants i could have eaten in at home.

If your question is where to stay in mermaid Quay there are lots of little hotels and B and B's all around the quay and further out. If you let us know a little more then I'm sure you will get a more precise answer.

Hi Terry The public toilets are located upstairs by the entrance to The Glee Club. The entrance to upstairs is opposite GBK on Bute Street. Hope this helps. Thanks
