We stayed in a near by hotel and were so surprised how much was available in the bay there were so many different food restaurants and bars it was all kept so gorgeous and the views were lovely. There was a big wheel and through the summer there was a beach fair which looked brilliant I'll be bringing our daughters... More

We fancied a weekend away, Cardiff we chose......the bay area was a great escape with the sun out and plenty to do, we toured the churches conference centre etc and even strolled past the "false" beach area with its own pool. Highlight of the trip was the "open boat tour" 20 mins of cheap info whilst cruising around the bay... More

Really Good Facility for Cardiff Bay, Some delicious places to eat (My favourite being Wagamamas) Some good shopping, and a constant service of boats leaving from the Bay to Cardiff City Centre. Joins on the the wonderful Roald Dahl Pass, which is the summer is turned into a beach.

Shopping and promenada spaces are on good side. The fun park with the sandy and water pots are not being on in same design, and looks misplaced here. Not so many proper seating places are available all over is also a downside.

One of our favourite places!!! Lovely sea views and lots of cafes and restaurants. We love the Cardiff Bay Beach in the Plaza in the summer. Lots of little rides, a beach with deck chairs and lovely clean paddling pool, all just a stones throw from the Opera House and the old Parliament building. The weather was amazing again today.... The location for so many Doctor Who and Torchwood episodes. It has a good selection of cafes, restaurants and shops. Eddies Diner may seem very familiar to certain visitors !
