    Well worth visiting!
It's a couple of miles from the centre of Cardiff and I walked there through Bute Park and the fields beyond which was a lovely route and eventually you emerge from some woods and there is the cathedral. Well worth the walk. It's smaller than many cathedrals but no less impressive. The modern sculpture in the central aisle is a key feature and you'll decide if you like it or not... I did. Just a short walk on the road and you can catch a bus back into Cardiff. Well worth visiting!

Cute cathedral in a beautiful part of town
Cute little cathedral in a quiet part of town. Well maintained grounds and staff were welcoming upon arrival. Like how the surrounding ground are in keeping with the local setting. Stunning internal architecture and beautiful displays throughout the building.

    Gorgeous tranquil Cathedral
This was an easy bus ride from Cardiff city center to Black Lion, then a quick walk to the cathedral. Stunning architecture inside and out. If you’re lucky the organist will be practicing and you can sit and enjoy the beautiful acoustics they have. It just felt very peaceful inside and I sat for a while and just took it all in. lovely little town as well.

    Beautiful Cathedral
This is a very beautiful and old cathedral. I visited on a weekend and walked to the cathedral from the city centre. It was a nice walk. Not too far or tiring. The inside is beautiful with a lot of history and the architecture is fascinating. There was music playing on my visit as the organist was at the organ. It made for an uplifting experience.

    Totally worth the visit!!
I didn't even know this existed..and I wound up going there TWICE. Llandaff is one of the most beautiful cathedrals I've laid eyes on. The grounds are remarkable, the interior is gorgeous..I just wish I had been able to go to a service there. It's nestled in a lush, green area that just screams serenity and beauty. Totally worth the visit!!

I'm so pleased we visited Llandaff Cathedral, it's so beautiful, the Epstein Sculpture towers high above you, and the Rosetti painting is incredible. there were some beautiful Stained Glass windows too. The staff were really friendly. We also enjoyed spending time looking round the Cemetery, some beautiful Celtic headstones, and there were amazing Yew tree's everywhere.

I've been wanting to visit Llandaff for a long time and I wasn't disappointed. The whole area is just lovely and the Cathedral is the Crown.
I especially loved the Lady Chapel and Welsh regiment Chapel. Very friendly and helpful volunteers. Unlike a lot of Cathedrals there is no set fee to enter and the setting is so peaceful

What a secret place to visit.
I took the train from Cardiff Central to Waun - Gron Park station.
A short walk through the very picturesque village leads us to the castle remains and this magnificent cathedral sitting majestically in a valley.
Such inner peace and tranquility to be found.

A really lovely cathedral where the history evolves from Norman through to late 20th Century. We really loved the modern arch with Christ the Redeemer inviting people to prayer. The new organ is a triumph of modern design and workmanship. It fits in so beautifully and yet is unashamedly modern. I was also taken with the Welsh Regiment chapel. All in all, a lovely visit.

Dating back to 1120 this cathedral is truly an historical monument. But actually it's a practicing church with services you can freely attend. The choir and organ playing was incredible. The Sunday service was calm and welcoming.

The building itself is stunning. The stained glass windows are are a work of art especially the main central window.

Inside the cathedral there are monuments to past bishops and lots of beautiful decorative objects. Outside has a small cemetery and some benches to rest & reflect.

The building is incredibly tall and can be seen from far away. A truly must visit

A wonderful cathedral with some beautiful surroundings. The cathedral is well kept snd wonderful to appreciate. It was a most peaceful visit on a wet Saturday afternoon in August. By chance they were running a pop up cafe offering some wonderful home made cakes and beverages. The grounds are great and has slot of historical graves going back to the early 1800’s and short walk up some steps takes to you to Roald Dalh’s school.

There is something rather special about the place. Time has been unkind to the old place but what they have, of any period is cherished and well displayed with excellent information boards. But I couldn't find any where an explanation of the concrete arch
