Llandaff Cathedral is a very good Cathedral to visit. It is down in a hollow so if mobility is a problem it is best to drive down the narrow hill.

A beautiful blend of old and new, with wonderful architecture complimented by the incredible 'Christ in Majesty' by Epstein, and works by Rosetti and Burne Jones amongst other pieces of modern art by Welsh artists. We had a guided tour led by John and Sarah...More

We felt pretty misled that this was advertised as a thing to do in Cardiff as it is quite far away we had to get a very long bus. However when we got there it was worth the travel as it's full of great sites.

I loved this cathedral with its modern artistic cross in the centre of a beautiful old building. It's located in a pretty town, not too far from racy Cardiff. Well worth a visit. Don't forget to visit the ruins of the old castle!!

I like to attend a local Sunday service whilst on holiday, so chose to visit Llandaff Cathedral. A lovely service with great music from the organ and choir. Stay for tea and biscuits afterwards and listen to the amazing bells pealing -all rung by hand....More

This cathedral contains a painting by Burne-Jones, the famous pre-Raphaelite painter. Apart from that it is your bog-standard cathedral. It is however standing in a lovely spot which is both peaceful and beautiful and it is worth taking a walk around the immediate vicinity.
