Really Useful Information in a Stunning Building

Cardiff has tourism down to a fine art and the visitor centre is at the heart of it. A truly great experience on Cardiff Bay.

Personally when visiting a city I prefer to plan out my day in advance so after contacting them by post first via a form then by letter and not receiving the information I requested, as a last resort I e mailed them. The response was not helpful, they do not post leaflets etc. you have to use the websites, fair... More

The souvenirs are Welsh by design but mostly mass produced from China, don't expect a decent unique gift here, unless you're feeling lazy. The information provides very little, if you're already on trip advisor, you pretty much have everything you need.

The Cardiff Bay Visitors Centre is located in the iconic Millenium Centre Building and is the only one left in the city, after the one in the library is not longer there. The place is filled with good leaflets and maps about the city and about the area around and the woman there was very helpful and ready to give... More

As a photographer I spent ages in this building taking photographs, there are a few places to get hot drinks and food, plus the tourist information and you can buy tickets for the hop on/ hop off/ bus tour £12 each- last for two days and get discount at other experiences.

the staff were very friendly, and had an ample supply of free maps. Wide choice of gifts and a selection of other information about attractions. Only very minor comment is that when I asked for directions to my hotel the member of staff said "it's too complicated to explain here's a map" and I then had to ask for more... More

The Visitor Centre is based in the stunning Milllenium Centre in Cardiff Bay. You can sit and watch a very information video, about 10 mins, about the history of Cardiff and the bay. There is tons of literature and information available and there is a well stocked gift shop. Would recommend a visit to the Centre, we found it very... More
