However, this Victorian shopping arcade, and all of the 4 or so similar to it in Cardiff, are worth a look just for the architecture. The entrances tend to be rather unattractive so don't be put off. They are very attractive inside.

A 19th century indoor market that is lined with shops in the city centre. The Royal arcade is the oldest part of the indoor market, dating back to 1858. A real joy to walk and browse around.

Hi Kathy so sorry for the delay, sadly there are no lifts to the upper floors in the communal areas, but some units do have lifts internally. The building is listed. Kind regards
