It is nice to walk through the beautiful garden/park in front of the National Museum or to sit on a bench. Here you see a circle of stones (Gorsedd Circle) that was erected elsewhere to declare the National Eisteddfod of 1899 and moved here in 1905. An annual National Eisteddfod is held which is a celebration of Welsh culture and language.
There are also a number of bronze statues of Lord Ninian Stuart, John Cory. Both men stand with their backs to us and a bronze statue of a crouching girl. When the weather is nice you can also sit on the terrace at the small coffee bar.

Little garden but pretty with nice statues of prominent figures and city hall behind you. It's usually a wah to cut through from A to B

Have walked through this Garden on many an occasion as a nice relaxing area with both shaded and open places.
Great views of City Hall.
Many people go here at lunch times to chill out.
Plenty of benches with shade.
There are some lovely statues around the Garden.
There is also a nice coffee hut in the Garden.
Would thoroughly recommend.

This is a small and somehow unimpressive garden, located not far from the city hall in Cardiff.
Nothing much to see here.

Hi, I am thinking of attending the AUOBCymru but I am merely a visitor and will take no part in the march but I would like to spectate from the park for an hour or so, is the consumption of alcohol allowed in the park?
