Have played lots of sport here growing up and its a great little area for a walk. As the fields are nearly always busy on weekends there is generally a good friendly atmosphere

This is a lovely place to have a picnic, walk your dogs, have a day out with a family or to watch some sports e.g. rugby, football. There are 3-4 fields which you can walk right the way through.

When the sun's out its one of the best places to be walking with children and the dog. The river provides a nice spot to cool off for the dog and there's always sport to watch including rugby and cricket.

Great to spend some time. If it's relaxing sitting by the river listening as it flows past to the sea.. Walking the dog (take a bag!) Childrens play area. Just laying back and listening to the noise of bat and ball as they play cricket...More

I've not seen anyone use a BBQ there. There are no facilities for one I know of. That's not to say a small one can't be used. Best idea is to contact Bridgend county council parks dept. For a visit maybe next time in the... More
