My daughter and her friend had their 10 year old Birthday party here Jan 15th 2022. They had the best time ever after such a long time of not being able to be together we all enjoyed a brilliant evening. They had the pool and inflatables to themselves. All the staff we very accommodating, the food was excellent and all facilities brilliantly clean. All the parents and children had a fabulous time and we will definitely be back to Wrexham Waterworld!!!

Very disappointed to find out most of the facilities were closed for the grandchildren due to them being off school TT day. On website said open but after driving 20 miles it was partially closed. This information would of been helpful on your website and saved me going all that way.

Enjoed the pool, was looking forward to what I thought was a hot tub only to find out it was cold and set to a cool temperature .
For a private operation I give the thumbs down .
Looking for an alternative private facility.

Lovely pool (warm and clean), friendly, helpful staff, clean and well maintained changing rooms. Kids loved the flume and rapids. A great place for a rainy day. - Bonus...free parking (after 11am).

Paid £11 for a family visit mid afternoon in December. Rapids and donut slide all good fun along with main pools. The problem is the showers. In a modern pool in the 21st century there is no excuse for the luke warm and poorly powered showers. You almost dread coming out of the pool. Apart from that, a decent pool. Changing rooms relatively clean but showers a let down

We came to this swimming pool as it's actual pools are warmer then our local one in Chester.
The price is reasonable but I would highly recommend that the price should change if the whirl pool and slid aren't on.
When arriving to the centre with 3 prams children all under the age of 1. (They can't walk) we paid and nobody informed us that the lift was out of use... why? Seeing we had 3 prams? Absolutely ignorant! Then to a huge struggle we had to lift 3 prams with children in them up 2 flights of stairs.. 3 members of staff walked past and not 1 offered to help! Including a manager totally ignored the struggle we was having.
Pool time was fun 1 of the children did end up with a huge cut from the jacuzzi somehow.
Finishing up in the pool and the walk back to the changing rooms the temperature in there is shocking it's far far too cold and the showers run cold water unless you press it about 8 times!
Then the task of getting the prams down.. manager walked up the stairs said "excuse me" so he could get past & didn't offer to help us get down and then 2 seconds later followed us down and still didn't offer to help! I'm appalled that staff could be so ignorant and unhelpful in a family establishment.

Been to visit to support local council run pool. The pool was perfectly clean and the staff were excellent both on reception and at poolside. However the changing rooms were dirty and what looked like smeared dried poo along the wall of the cubicle. Another was full of rubbish and a used nappy. Then queuing on the steps for the waterslide there was a thick layer of dust that looked like it hadn't been touched in years. Last time I visited there were attendants who maintained the changing rooms but it appears that the facilities have been another victim of council cuts. I can understand why people would rather the expense of gym membership for higher quality facilities

Travelled 45 minutes to get here as the children wanted to try the slide. We rang first to ensure it was open and was told over the phone that the baby pool and slides were open until 5pm. On arrival we were told the slides and lazy river were not open until 5pm because 'our children' have gone back to school, well not ours as it was still our easter holidays! They said that the baby pool and other pools were open until 5pm so we had access to all pools. Our little boy was really disappointed but wanted to try the pool anyway. When we got in there we could only use the baby pool as there was an aqua aerobics lesson in one pool and adults doing lengths in the main pool. Then just to add insult to injury when we were in the baby pool at 3.30pm we were told to get out as there was a swimming lesson about to take place so we then had to take our baby into the colder pool. Could not quite believe how we had been so misinformed. Showers were terrible and the price for a family ticket was more expensive than the prices on their website. You also have to pay extra for parking. Would have been so much better if we had just been given the correct information in the first place.

We have been coming to Waterworld for a number of years now to use the swimming facilities with our children but over this time we feel we leave feeling very let down by the pools and facilities!
The pools are now bordering on being far too cold, making our time in the pool less comfortable.
We came to visit yesterday (Friday 2nd june), we got into the pool at around 2:30ish and realised that the slide was closed and the jacquzzi empty!! We asked a member of staff what time the slide would be open to be told it would be at least 4 o'clock due to staff shortage!!! It's the middle of the school holidays and there aren't enough staff!!!
Then the whole of the baby pool gets closed of for swimming lessons and the smaller pool at the end of the main pool, there are only so many times you can go around the lazy river (which also seems to have gotten much slower over the years!) with a 3 year old non swimmer before he gets bored! so we move to the main pool as this is the only other part available at this moment in time and to go in with my youngest, this was not an overly enjoyable experience either as there were many families with non swimming children ion this area!
Eventually the jacquzzi was filled and around 4 o'clock the slide opened although this was only for around 30-40 minutes and then it was closed again!!! Again this left me with a very upset 3 year old who had been enjoying going on the slide with his dad and an annoyed 11 & 13 year old as of course the slide is what they want to be going on!!
My son picked up a swimming noodle from the pool edge to have it snatched out of his hand by a female member of staff who barked at him that that was only for swimming lessons, cue more crying!! I'm sure the member of staff could have spoken to him in a more kindly way!!!
The slide did reopen again but by then we had had enough!!
The changing room are also very dated and unclean and the whole facility needs a good cash boost to try and bring it up to a more acceptable standard...............I don't think we will be returning!!

Went today and specifically asked at the desk for two adults and a toddler for the leisure pool. Money paid but got in there to find the rapids and slides closed. A bit of common sense from the reception just to say that the leisure pool part is closed before we paid almost ten pound would have been appreciated. Also the water was very cold.
