Whatever the weather, this place is fantastic. Climbed again today and would love to live closer. A 4 hour drive each way is worth it. Get there early at this time of year and you feel like you have the place to yourself.

The company was organised and professional, sending plenty of emails covering all the necessary information to ensure we were prepared. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and always made sure all the walkers were safe (and accounted for), from the most experienced to the novices...More

If you want a challenge take try the South ridge as there is some scrambling to get to the top. Took about 2.5 hours to ascend. The day we went it was wet and misty so can't comment on the views but we still had...More

The walk/stroll up Snowdon was easy for me --- even at my advanced age and Parkinson's. But the bloody trip back was a night mare I will never forget. Slippery stones, narrow paths, and uneven rocks all contributed to my misery. It has been a...More

Our family of three walked to the summit of Snowdon twice recently: in August and October. On both occasions we had excellent weather: dry with very good visibility. At 15km, the return hike is quite long and there are some parts where the ascent is...More

Hiya. It really depends on the route and fitness. 5-7 hours is a good benchmark, but the fitter you are then the closer you will be to the 5 hour mark...and vice versa.
