This is a company best avoided, they completely lack customer service skills and any kind of professionalism when dealing with customers. Ignoring emails seems to be their best way of dealing with problems. If they can't be honest and professional in communication with customers, I would question their honesty and professionalism with regard to all aspects of the business including safety. Having not received the elearning details from padi I was told this had been sent 'a number of times' but when I requested where and when these were sent my emails remained unanswered and the question ignored. When I did eventually resolve this without help from Duttons the email had been sent once and only once, not to the email address I gave for this. On the first dive my partners 'dry suit' was completely not dry. As soon as we entered the water she was getting wet but no corrective action was taken, by the end of the dive both legs were completely full of water. After Duttons cancelled a dive session to rearrange at a future date I was told there was £300 in rebooking fees from their terms and conditions, (which we were never shown) this was even though Clare Dutton had cancelled the session not us. Avoid this company and book with a professional company who will actually deal with any problems rather than just ignore them and hope the customer goes away as they already have your money.

Given voucher as gift for a taster session. Booked time and date via email, no stress. Arrived for 10 am session to be warmly greeted by Sam, who explained the plan for the morning for myself and other guest. We got kitted up, all provided by center, dry suit etc. Then went through some techniques and onto one of the platforms to try out some technical stuff before we headed underwater. Really enjoyed my time, Sam was excellent with making us feel at ease and we got down about 11 metres in the end. Worked our way up, quick debrief, got changed and took some photos and we were out of there. Really enjoyable, more physical than I thought, but definitely worth it.

Its a real, abandoned slate quarry. A small centre but with everything you need for a pleasant dip. Great for training too. Also a PADI dive school run by the impressive Clare Dutton, but I can't comment on the training side as we were just there for a pleasure dive.
