I knew Llanberis when the slate quarries were still working and watched with sadness their closure. I also witnessed the transformation of the town as people who had lost their jobs were reemployed to use their skills to build Dinorwic power station, although you couldn't...More

We visited the Electric Mountain, Llanberis in September. What an amazing tour. You have to pre book as the tours are really that busy. Worth every penny, absolutely fantastic

Visited here on a rainy day as an alternative to outside activities and so glad we did. The tour isn't very long (just over an hour including a couple of videos and the bus ride) and you really only get to see two areas inside,...More

Fascinating tour of this power plant and insight into the use of it in the national grid. A good tour well presented.

Very very disappointed by this venue, more space devoted to selling tat than describing the facility. They could charge an entrance fee and put many innovative displays in place. In fact better just stay outside and look at details using a smartphone !
