Whilst the science and the power station is VERY interesting, I'm not sure I gained anything from the tour. We waited around for 2 hours before beginning our tour. First we watched a short video clip in the dark perched on benches. Then we left...More

A tourist attraction based on a power station does not immediately make the heart race and you could be forgiven thinking its for those with engineering background only. However that is far from the truth, the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and are only...More

With the scenery & technology it should have been very interesting. As it was, it was worthy and the underground sights were strangely quite dull. Much of the time we had to wait far longer than seemed necessary at each stop with nothing apparently going...More

Following our lakeside train trip, we wandered into Electric Mountain as it sounded interesting ~ it certainly was! Lovely, lovely staff, from those on Reception, to the cafeteria, to the coach guide and driver. We started with a short film, then for those of us...More

We did this tour once before, probably about 20 years ago and were looking forward to sharing the experience with our daughter. We arrived early and had lunch at the cafe, which was very nice - although the surroundings do feel a little dated. The...More

There isn't much walking involved as your on a bus tour. You can get off & walk up to a platform with a few steps to see but you don't have to do it. I'm sure you'll be fine.
