A short but very pleasant trip along the shore of the lake, this also takes you past some of the slate workings, which are interesting. A fun and friendly way to spend a few hours.

We visited here on Tuesday 5th June, and whilst we loved the rail journey, the volunteers were, without exception, neither friendly nor engaging with their customers. It did rather spoil the day trip for us, as we always highly value good customer service. Be aware...More

Hello! I am very very familiar with this business! So it's a journey along the side of the lake, not around it! It depends where you get on so if you get on in the village, it travels all the way to the end without stopping... More
